How are these sort of advance currency exchange places protected? I honestly don't know much about them but with the world coming to an end and all that, I would worry about paying for currency I wouldn't receive until later...just thinking of those with various store vouchers, Christmas clubs, etc. that have lost all value in these things...probably not the case with something like this, but worries me a bit.
sorry, I spuff on about these guys quite a bit (as they offer great rates) and sometimes forget to throw in the old addage of 'do your own research'... (there is no doubt a thread on here with them mentioned already!) :)

there is basically no protection with these guys so use with caution (only options of payment are bank transfer / cheque)

short delivery / timescales obviously reduce the risk significantly

i've ordered before and they've delivered but obviously they could be 'gone tomorrow' - hopefully not though as I have a batch @ 1.6 rate due for delivery in March!!!

Well I do go for a month at a time.

I'm sorry if my response to that offer was a bit harsh, but I really don't like Circus Circus very much. I apologise to Dan28 for that.

photome is correct,it IS a good price for a night in Vegas.

haha, i was only messing ;)

i'm with you though to be honest, I wouldnt' stay there whatever the price - just to inconveniant for us more than anything and doesn't appeal to us - much like down-town, some people will stay there, some people won't even contemplate it!

The Circus Circus deal (although very cheap) @ $21 is for the motel out the back so bank on a few more $$ for the tower rooms which is the minimum I would go for.

It is a very good deal like people said though, but in May when i'm there there was nothing cheaper than $45 a night in the tower, yet I just booked MGM for $55 a night yesterday with $25 credit, free VIP tickets for Studio 54 (is that what its called?) and more stuff....

Do you have a link to the MGM offer in May? No use to me as I have my hotels sorted, but may be of interest to some.

That's what I thought too and actually posted just that - but went back to look and the random dates I chose actually did show tower rooms for $21 - so I deleted my post...I agree though that people should be careful if they are booking the manor motor lodge rooms...free upgrades may be available, but if not, it may not be a very nice experience.

I'm consistently amazed with that LCI website stoneman posted...we're already booked for April, but have friends who want to meet us there...problem is, we chose a busy week with the NAB convention in town so room rates are a lot higher than normal for the dates they would want to join us including the weekend before.

Just found that I could book 5 nights at Paris via LCI for $425 plus tax...even looking at the hot deals rates for those nights it's $985.

Now, do I suggest this to the friends? That I book the room for them, check in and give them the keys? They live in the US, so cannot join LCI. I wonder if this could screw me in any way...our room at Bally's is in my husband's name, but has my HET players club number against it too...but I wouldn't have to show my HET club card, only possibly the LCI card (which I have). I know there would be a risk if they were to lose their room keys, they couldn't get duplicates...

...unless I check in with one of them and put their name on the reservation too...hmmmmmm...

    I don't like being sneaky...I'm always sure it's going to bite me...but it's tempting!

I agree with you ferf about LCI, I have 5 nights booked at Paris for $357 inc a fri and sat. Those rates look to good to be true!!.

I found myself in southend last week and lo and behold there is a LCI casino there, so went and got myself a card.

Dont know what to do about your friends tho...sorry
