I bought one too - now to convince my husband to give it a try...he's indifferent to Italian food in a restaurant environment...'it's just pasta' has been said. Having read about the place for years I really want to try it.

We really enjoyed the Casa di Amore experience - being picked up in the limo and being driven off strip. The food was nothing startling, it was just good basic food. I had a pasta dish and hubby had the Sinatra steak which he liked. The service from our waiter was excellent and he was very attentive

They have 50% off bottles of wine on a Sunday and Monday.

The certificate says that an automatic gratuity will be added. This is to ensure that the gratuity is based on the full amount and not the discounted amount. However it wasn't add to ours so we left 20% which was a bit mor than the auto tip.

You bought a restaurant.com certificate for the Hawaiian Tropic Zone. How did you find it? Was the food good and what did you have?

As you will have discovered, there is no need to buy the certificate as they were handing out coupons for 2 for 1 entrees and drinks on the strip.

Thinking of trying it next trip.

Good find ferf! TOTW was definitely not listed when we were there a month ago. I would certainly consider trying it at 50% off. I take it it's a la carte and you pay for sides on top of the entree?

Tix4Dinner has some good restaurants listed such as Penazzi, Bally's Steakhouse, Al Dente, etc.

It is indeed a la carte...I'm not sure how current this menu (with prices) is but is probably a good guide - looks very similar to the menu we had a few years ago.

Do you know if you have to buy the vouchers on the day you plan to eat at the restaurant? Or is it possible to buy them in advance? I've always assumed it's an on the day thing but don't know for sure.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Didn't bother with it to be honest. Not really our type of food, but it only cost me $5 i think. Yes we did notice all the free entrees and 241 drinks flyers. just decided that we would have to spend $100 to get $50 off, thought of buying a load of stuff then having it as a takeaway, maybe next trip. I asked the manager and you can use the restaurant.com voucher for drinks as well, hmmm, might see if tangobunny could find a use for it.;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Thanks for the menu. I looked last night, but the one on theit site didn't have prices which puts me off a bit. I like to have an idea what I may be paying.

As for Tix4Dinner, you can buy the voucher up to 7 days in advance. For a full service restaurant T4D will make the reservation for you. Not sure if that's compulsory or not.

However when we used it for Bally's Steakhouse I asked for either 7.30 or 8pm, but they could only accommodate us at 8.30. Not sure if that was because of the voucher or not.

Thanks stoneman. I think I did look at their menu and didn't fancy anything either.

Need some advice on the United Airlines "economy plus" I think sew uses it. Been quoted $572 to upgrade all sectors of the itinerary, but can get an annual pass for $349 that includes me and Tracy. Is it worth the extra and do you think it is possible to retrospectively use the annual pass for flights already booked

Just incase anyone is interested, this is the garb i recieved from the wet republic on pricing!!! ps, has anyone been on a Thursday? and is it still pretty lively??? you'll see why im thinking about a thursday in a minute...

All the seating below except for the chase lounges on Monday through Thursday, include a food and beverage minimum where you may spend that on anything that we sell at Wet Republic. That list includes individual drinks, bottle service, food on the menu and even sun tan lotion and sunglasses and T-shirts and hats.

The cover charges for entrance are $40 for men and $20 for ladies on Saturdays and Sundays and $20 for men and $10 for ladies on every other day of the week.
The most basic seating that we have to offer are the padded chase lounges that are set up for single seating. They are first come first serve and free of charge and included with the paid cover charge on Monday through Thursday only. There are only 60 of them so the earlier you get there the better chance you have of getting into one for the day. On Friday and Sunday there is a $50 food and beverage minimum per chair on top of the paid cover charge and that gets you the chair for the entire day and I would still recommend getting there early as they go quite fast. On Saturdays and Special event days the chair minimums will go up to $100.

The next step up from the chase lounges are the Wet Republic Small and Large Daybeds.
The small daybeds are comfy little beds that can sit two to three comfortably and are perfect for couples but get in 4 with no cover charge.

During the week (Monday-Thursday) the Small Daybeds will incur a $150 food and beverage minimum and on the Fridays and Sundays it jumps up a bit to a $250 food and beverage minimum and on Saturdays and Sundays it is raised up once again to $500 due to it being the busiest days of the week. So in order to reserve and get a small daybed at Wet Republic you and your group must spend a minimum of $150 during the week (Monday-Thursday) and $250 on Friday and $500 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The Large Daybeds are pretty much king size beds that seat 4 to 5 people comfortably but will get in 6 with no cover charge.

During the week (Monday-Thursday) the Large Daybeds will incur a $250 food and beverage minimum and on the Fridays it jumps up a bit to a $500 food and beverage minimum and on Saturdays and Sundays it is raised up once again to $750 due to it being the busiest days of the week and when we have special events. So in order to reserve and get a large daybed at Wet Republic you and your group must spend a minimum of $250 during the week (Monday-Thursday) and $500 on Fridays and $750 on Saturdays and Sundays.

The next option includes our Lounge Tables which are in the covered area of the bar.
The Lounges tables will seat about 10 people and are in the shade and covered area and great if you don’t want to be in the sun all day.

During the week (Mon-Thurs) the Lounge Tables will incur a $150 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $150 on food and drinks.

On Fridays and Sundays the prices for the Lounge Tables jump up to a $1000 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $1000 on food and drinks while on Saturday the lounge tables will incur a $1500 food and beverage minimum.

The next option that includes our Premium VIP seating is the Wet Republic’s Exclusive Cabanas and Bungalows.
At Wet Republic you have the option of two different kinds of cabanas, Party Cabanas and Deluxe Cabanas. The Party Cabanas are tent cabanas with comfortable couches and tables and right on the main floor of the pool and directly in all of the action. The Deluxe Cabanas and Bungalows are like hotel rooms and in a way your home away from home. They include 50 inch HD plasmas and wireless Nintendo WII’s with over 50 games to choose from and DVD players with plenty of movies to choose from as well. You will also get you your own cocktail waitress and they will give you a break from the sun with some definite shade and a great breeze from giant ceiling fan. The only difference between the cabanas and the bungalows are that the bungalows are a little more exclusive and separated from the pool and that they have their own 3 separate pools and are a little less out of the action versus the cabanas but much more VIP.

During the week (Monday-Thursday) the Party Cabanas will incur a $350 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $350 on food and drinks.

The Deluxe Cabanas on (Monday-Thursday) will incur a $500 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $500 on food and drinks.
On Fridays the daily price on the Party Cabanas jumps up to a $1000 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $1000 on food and drinks while the Deluxe Cabanas food and beverage minimum jumps up to $1500 as Fridays are officially the start of the busy weekend.

On Saturdays and Sundays the Party Cabanas jump up again to a $2000 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $2000 on food and drinks and the Deluxe Cabanas on Saturdays and Sundays have a $2500 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $2500 on food and drinks.

With Regards to the Exclusive Bungalows, during the week (Monday-Thursday) will incur a $750 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $750 on food and drinks.

On Fridays the daily price of the Bungalows jump up to a $2000 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $2000 on food and drinks.

On Saturdays and Sundays the Cabanas jump up again to a $3000 food and beverage minimum in which you and your group must spend a minimum of $3000 on food and drinks.

In addition, i looked at the drinks menu - average price for a bottle of vodka/bourbon/rum/gin etc is $400 & a pitcher of Mojito (no idea how big) is $75!!!

Great ideas thanks so much - this is what we were after just ideas of what to do as we area totally new to it.

With the Virgin Sat night deal what was that for as the prices we looked at were just for flights?

    Thanks again

Virgin flights are much much cheaper if you stay a Saturday night.

Also, hire a limo from the airport to your hotel with champagne on ice and a pair of midget strippers, which everyone seems to be doing at the moment.
