MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
The Bellagio Fountainsedit: nuts, i haven't got a pic lol - remember now i filmed it instead
It's not a great shot, but gives a bit of an idea I think...it's such a vast open space it's probably hard to really capture it in a photo (which may be why you filmed it.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Agreed! Or maybe it will be the push Virgin needs to put newer planes on the LGW-LAS route. Either would be OK with me!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Secret GardenSo looks like Virgin will have some competition in the direct to Vegas market come the fall.

Interesting - the arriving at 5:10pm thing isn't exciting...but the 777s is...and the 7pm departure from Vegas is.
Thanks for that Ferf, really interesting, so who else will be looking at BA's website on Monday morning?? I know I will.

The Bellagio FountainsOK cheapest flights are 2150 for the 4 of us. I quite fancy the Luxor, but with 2 kids does anyone have any better or cheaper good ideas for hotels?
Excalibur will be cheaper than Luxor, albeit not as nice imo. Lots of promo codes here so you should be able to get it at a good price:

If you're staying the last 2 weeks in July Excal has rates at $27 weekdays, $65 weekends. Theres no extra charge for kids under 12 but they do charge a $5 daily resort fee so don't forget to factor that in:

Triker,
sorry, but I think I will have to report the burger post.
I am trying to lose a bit of the flab before going to LV next Saturday and the burgers on the list will probably add weight just looking at them .............lol
Seriously, nice one!0 -

Although Luxor has a far worse rating on TA. The new widescreen rooms in the Excalibur are meant to be really nice. Liked the look of the Luxor but the reviews put me off a bit0 -

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0 -
The Bellagio FountainsThis is great news. Damn, just when I thought my Post Office credit card was going to get a rest:eek:
PS don't know what happened there, I seemed to have replied to my own postThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. The Bellagio FountainsOops, I did it again............
Just booked to go back in September!!! Wooo hooo!!
I had already booked Paris for 11 nights and the Carriage House for 2 nights while I was monitoring flight prices. The flights I was looking at had to be booked before tomorrow so I've bit the bullet.
£450 each isn't cheap, but it's the best I could do from Aberdeen with flight times that suited. Flying with United via LAX out and SFO back.
So now I am officially going back and looking for offers on hotels from 19 September onwards so if anyone spots any, please post.
So far I've seen the Excalibur for $36 mid week, but not sure I want to be that far south.0
