4 adults in a convertible is really going to push it . Me and OH have a 4x4 SUV to ourselves for road trips . if we both take 2 large suitcases and hand luggage we pretty much fill a boot.

solution is either 2 convertibles or a good sized SUV IMO .

Most of the main outlet malls have somewhere to buy luggage .why not do it properly and get some Samsonite cases ? i got a full sized case for $80 from a outlet branch because it had minor superficial damage .

this is thinking way outside the box, in case no one comes up with a better solution:
why not rent a cheap room at one of the cheaper hotels? It would have to be a safe place, but with so many deals around for $50 or less, I don't know if someone will be able to suggest a place to leave luggage for 4 adults for less than that... That would be about $10 a day per person...

going on a 4 day road trip to LA during my holls in aug.
4 adults all with a normal size suitcase
    looking at car hire
i really want a convertible (sebring or simmilar) but think i may be pushing my luck on the amount of space in it
    so
1 ?am i,?is this possilbe? anyone hired one of these
2, anyone know of a luggage store for 4 days in vegas?

You could call and ask the Vegas hotel you'll be returning to (assuming that you'll be returning to a Vegas hotel and not flying out upon your return)...you can certainly store luggage at the bell desk of any given hotel for the day, but not sure if there are limitations beyond that. The other option I suppose would be to find a really cheap hotel room somewhere to stash the bags...though you'd probably want to let the front desk know you wouldn't be in the room for a couple of days - whether that would pose a security risk or not I'm not sure (i.e. you're telling people you won't be around to keep an eye on your stuff).

I agree with the others - we've had Sebring's several times (though never a convertible) and with 2 of us and our luggage/carry-ons we normally have to put some stuff on the back seat when we're loaded up.

For the guys who have connected via LA or San Francisco (mainly to avoid the crap Virgin plane), can you tell me what you thought? Is it worth the connection for the difference in place etc?

Trets - I'm not sure if I should add to the Spice Market buffet review. The twice we've been since it changed from Alladin have been pretty mediocre. Not sure we'll bother to go back. I know I seem to be in the minority.....

    Hi

I am thinking of going back in September for maybe 13 nights. We normally go the first week in November. I have checked the convention calendar and there's nothing major, but is there anything else going on I may not be aware of?

I know about March Madness and Spring Break for March/April, but I've never considered September before.

Why would you need Trets approval to post on the Spice Market buffet? Say what you think. It's a buffet and you get what you pay for at those, if you think its one to avoid then say so!

Labor Day weekend is usually quite busy from what I understand as most people have the Monday off...it falls on 7th September this year.

I was going to say Bike Week is normally in September but I checked and looks like first week in October this year (when we're planning on being in town - so thanks for asking, need to research the impact of Bike Week to decide if we want to shift our dates!)

There is supposed to be a bikini parade down Las Vegas Boulevard this Thursday morning. It is an attempt to beat the Guinness world record. We'll be going to have a look, but can't find much info about it. The only thing I can find on google is the ad for students at UNLV. they are being paid $100 each for participating.

    Has anyone heard about it?
