what drive in and how far into downtown were you going !! .

It's true Vegas has no go area's but they are long way from the strip and there is little there to tempt you there in 1st place .

Trets, it was in North Las Vegas close to the North airport. I think the Cannery and Texas Station are in the vicinity. We've driven around there and I don't think I'd like to be there after dark. (But I'm a wimp)

On W.Carey Ave, here is the link to the website I found it on http://www.fandango.com/lasvegasdrivein_aacee/theaterpage

and the only thing tempting us there was the drive-in itself!
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Club Grazie lets you sign up online:

There's also the red card at wynn/encore, but you can't sign up online as far as i know.

Here's a new activity i've just come accross in Las Vegas for those wanting to try something a bit different, a chance to drive big caterpillar construction equipment, there is even a chance to get rid of your aggression by squashing cars with them!!

    Website is http://playwithourcats.com/

    Anybody fancy a go??

  • Any suggestions on which guidebook I should buy before visiting vegas next month.

I have printed off so many great tips and ideas from this thread but if my file gets any bigger I am going to have to pay for excess luggage to take it with me. Cheers

I find that many of the guide books are out of date before they are printed. I've bought a few in the past, and wasn't very impressed with any of them. Best of a bad bunch was Top Ten Vegas. Link here.

The info here is always more current than a guide book.
