The Bellagio FountainsI've just checked our flights and they are only £30 cheaper than when I booked them with AA in November and it's the first time they've dropped since then as they've always been higher by up to £100 each.
I just checked and our flights would be just over £100 each cheaper if we didn't have to fly from ABZ. £200 is a lot of hotel nights/food/gambling in Vegas.
Hi Luci,
I really cant quite figure out WHAT is going on with their flight prices.
This is my experience:-
NOVEMBER 4 DAY SALE - AA had their sale on and I checked out the price for our ideal dates from MAN to LAS - came out at £820. On the verge of booking but something told me to hang on.
DAY AFTER 4 DAY SALE - AA normal fare price for EXACTLY same dates £1,150!!!!
THIS SALE - AA dont advertise MAN to LAS as being in their sale YET (out of interest) I have just checked the SAME dates and the flight would now cost us.... wait for it..... £715!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The cheapest flights I have EVER seen from MAN to LAS in June/July is £820 (last year BMI & this year AA) so that is an AMAZING price.
I only wish that I hadnt just bought us a new sofa - I am gutted - I would have usually booked that fare in a SHOT!!! that coupled with the Gold Coast offer of something like $25 a night and $60 (was it?) for weekends would make a ten night holiday in Vegas in June/July EXTREMELEY cheap - approx £955 for two!! Once again, gutted - may return my sofa...
I am kicking myself now - I am not sure we will see prices as cheap as that (for that time of year) anytime soon...
(If anyone is interested the dates are 30/6/09 returning 10/7/09).

The Bellagio FountainsNot sure if this will help anyone, but just in case - for Heathrow or Gatwick Express from Virgin's website (seems to apply if you're a member of their flying club).
Getting to the airport can be a stressful experience but when you travel on the Heathrow or Gatwick Express rail services, you will discover that it can be both a relaxing, and enjoyable experience.
As a Flying Club member, you already receive a 5% discount on fares, but if you book tickets for either service between 1 April and 31 May 2009 you will also receive a free upgrade to First Class.
Plus, all members that book within the offer period will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win 5 First Class, return tickets for either service.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

The Bellagio Fountainsawww...well, at least it's only a short journey on the train - we've had upgrade vouchers to 1st before and sure it's nice, but it's not like you can get a massage or anything.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

Hi everyone
I'm off to LV on 18th April for 5 nights - it's our first visit and I absolutely can't wait!
I'd really like to go and see a magic show - I've heard there are some excellent ones there.
Can anyone reccomend any?
Thanks

The Bellagio FountainsSteff
I booked during the November 4 day sale at £930 and they went up to £1042 after the sale. They are £860 in this sale, but there is no way I would be booking just 5 weeks before travel. To me, the anticipation and planning is worth the extra booking in advance.
An additional bonus of booking in this sale is that you can earn 10,000 Advantage Miles for 2 return flights using a promo code.0 -

I don't know if David Copperfield is on when you're there, but you can check on the MGM website. However I haven't heard good reports about his show with people saying his arrogance shows and he is full of his own importance.
Lance Burton is one you may want to see although I haven't seen him as I don't like magic shows and there is Steve Wyrick at the theatre in the Miracle Mile shops.
One we have seen and thoroughly enjoyed was Mac King which is an afternoon show at 1pm and 3pm. You can pick up tickets for free admittance where you only pay for a drink which I think is currently $13. You may be able to get them at Harrah's Total Rewards desk or at their Box Office.
If you can't pick up on of those then you may get tickets at Tix4Tonight although I can't remember if he was listed there or not.0 -
