Hi
Thanks for that. After posting, I did notice that it's Air France but a Delta flight (does that make sense?). According to Expedia, its MAN-NYC (can't remember which airport exactly) then NYC-LAS BUT when I go on to the AF website to get direct prices, this option doesn't come up0 -

Sounds like it's a codeshare - Delta operating...so it's Delta that you'd want reviews on.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

I flew on Delta form JFK-LAS back in Oct. A Boeing 737- it had been equipped with AVOD so you could watch any programmes when you wanted, but you had to pay $5 for movies- overall not too bad.0 -
The Secret GardenThanks very much for the second installment...have to concur with the others, you'll be back.
Oh we will definitely be back - the thing is I/we hate flying & for me the journey home was rough which it made it even harder. The thing is it didn't used to bother me but now it does & I get so tense on the journey.
We've booked Mexico for October & I'm already dreading the flight.
That was the whole idea of the train to & from Manchester - 2 less flights to think about.
But as for Vegas there's still so much for us to do or revisit.0 -

Just spotted this in my "inbox" - thought I'd share! Fares from London to Vegas seem pretty good. Ive not flown with AA, so cant comment.

The Bellagio Fountains... all read!
Thanks for posting David - really enjoyed your trip report - sounds like you had a fantastic time!
I have to agree about the All American Bar & Grille at The Rio. OH & I stayed at the Rio for 14 nights in 2007 and I have to say we paid more than one visit to AAB&G!!! Didnt try the burgers but we did fall in love with their gorgeous steaks! The Rio itself is an enjoyable hotel to stay at once you have found your way around - did you go outside to take a look at the pool area with the waterfalls and sand etc?
Ditto about the BBQ @ Ellis Island - I am a big fan of that!!
I think if you enjoy Vegas then you will ALWAYS want to go back - I know I do!!
Just a tip for your next visit - you said you enjoyed the Wynn and had planned on going back to see the Waterfall show. Well, its not that great really (but worth seeing if you are there I admit). My tip though would be to go to their cafe called "Sugar & Ice" - take your coffee/tea/icecream/cake etc outside onto the patio area - you are literally sat in front of the waterfalls!! Its gorgeous there - really nice. Granted we usually go in June/July when its scorching and the umberellas and the spray from the waterfalls keeps you cool. Its one of the most relaxing places that I have found in vegas! Definately worth a visit.
Hope your vegas blues go away soon - it always helps having another holiday booked though doesnt it?!
Thanks again!

The Bellagio FountainsGreat trip report David, I really enjoyed reading that.
How much was the flight in Premium with TC and did you get 20kgs baggage with that? We have to get from north of Aberdeen to Manchesteror wherever first and that really adds to the price.0 -

Steff;)
I've just checked our flights and they are only £30 cheaper than when I booked them with AA in November and it's the first time they've dropped since then as they've always been higher by up to £100 each.
I just checked and our flights would be just over £100 each cheaper if we didn't have to fly from ABZ. £200 is a lot of hotel nights/food/gambling in Vegas.0
