The Fremont street experienceMe and the GF have decided that we are going to go ahead with our vegas wedding.
The costs for here are getting more ridiculous by the day- so the plan is a wedding at the Bellagio and then a party when we get back here.
Were going to have it in the summer holidays (one of the inlaws is a teacher)- does anyone know if there is much of a price difference between June/July/August or will they all pretty much be the same?0 -

I wore a linen suit and that was a very good call this may help you http://vegasuncovered.wordpress.com/2008/06/05/getting-married-in-las-vegas-the-legalities/
Oh and by the way you do not need to regsiter it when you get back to the UK
We hired a house for a week before that made it cheap for a lot of people to stay (personally I would not stay off strip again) I would have a long think about the Bellagio as the Casino chapels are much of a muchness (cheap ones excluded) and Bellagio is devilishly expensive. We loved the little chapel of the west in part because when we were married we walked straight outside not in to a casino. The cost for our wedding and we had the to package photos, flowers, service, limo organist etc was about $800. we had 12 people out an drinks at venetian and then meal in private room with open bar at Maggainos and then drinks at a Penthouse suite at Mirage perfect dayIts Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -
We spend 4 nights in Vegas and then leave on the Friday morning to stay in Death Valley one night Amargosa (sp?) Opera House
I take it you have not seen the Amargosa Hotel yet. Have a look at some of the reviews on Tripadvisor:

It's totally up to you but I thought I'd just make you aware. When we called in last August (just for an ice cream) the place didn't smell too good. I could not imagine staying the night there, especially after the luxury of Vegas.
EDIT: Has anyone else been here ? It's like going back in time, only it smells worse !0 -

The Bellagio FountainsSEW! I posted a yesterday about weddings. I thought I remembered you saying that you got married - Maggianos after? Was that you? Can you tell me some of the details
EDIT: Got excited (lol) and only read half your post - now I've read the other half. Do you have any pics of the chapel you could share/PM?Love MSE, Las Vegas and chocolate!0 -
The Fremont street experienceIt's been a tough decision as my dad died suddenly 4 weeks ago of a heart attack (only 47 :embarasse ) so we thought it may be better for the family to have it here. But it's our day in the end and this is what we've alway fancied.
Think we both like the bellagio wedding chappel we will have to wait and see.
Now we have to have a think about where to have a meal afterwards0 -

The Bellagio FountainsA shopping question for you all........thinking of going to either the las vegas outlet center or thelas vegas premuim outlet, the first is south of the luxor and the later questioned is between stratosphere and downtown. just wondering which one people prefer and what would be the better one to go to? I'd imagine both outlets have got exactly the same stores as each other but im happy to hear peoples views please?
