The Bellagio FountainsA shopping question for you all........thinking of going to either the las vegas outlet center or thelas vegas premuim outlet, the first is south of the luxor and the later questioned is between stratosphere and downtown. just wondering which one people prefer and what would be the better one to go to? I'd imagine both outlets have got exactly the same stores as each other but im happy to hear peoples views please?

Agree with the others - they do have some of the same but some different stores...the one south of Luxor has a Rockport and also a Disney outlet...the former is of interest to us, the latter to some people with kids to buy for.
The downtown stores list is here:

So if you can only go to one, may be worth choosing the one with the stores that are most interesting to you.
They both have Coach outlets, so I'm quite happy with either.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsOh and if you want to be really cheesy - go to Walmart - that's hilarious - Food, clothes, paint, plumbing, toys, gym equipment, entertainment, gardening stuff and firearms - all under one roof. Better than Tesco :rotfl:
Superstores are one of the things I miss most from the US...knowing that at 2am, any day of the week, any day of the year (except Christmas Eve evening and Christmas Day) I could buy groceries, socks, spark plugs, garden furniture, paint, cold medicine and ammunition in the same place was always somehow comforting.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsAs far as the outlets are concerned, we do tend to buy more from the Premium Outlets, but in the hot weather the South Strip one is definitely better, since it is nice and cool.0

The Bellagio FountainsP.S. I have never in my life bought ammunition, but the fact that I COULD...that's what counted.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0

The Bellagio FountainsI don't think Walmart is cheesy!! It's usually our first stop the day after we arrive. Tracy does all her make-up shopping at CVS (and Sephora), you will be telling me that's down market next. As for shopping, there is only one place, Fashion Show. What ever you do, don't go to Boulevard Outlet Mall, we nearly lost the will to liveThe common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

The Bellagio FountainsAgree with stoneman about Boulevard mall...dont bother.
We love the Fashion show and my wife always manages to find a couple of handbags in there reduced and then dont forget you can get 11% off for being a visitor, you have to go to customer services first though.
As for the other 2 we prefer the Premium outlet and again if you go to the mall websites you can get discount vouchers.0 -
The Bellagio FountainsWe are getting married at 10.30 am when we go but would like to make our celebrations last the full day - anyone have any suggestions? There will be 10 of us.
On the evening I am hoping for us to get into Mon Ami Gabi to watch the fountains but of course that leaves a lot of spare time in between!Dream of being mortgage free....

What time of year ? We got married at 2pm then photos at the Las Vegas sign, drinks at Venetian then 4.30pm - 8.30pm dinner ate Maggianos and then 9pm onwards suite at Mirage, the problem is that even with only a little exposure to the heat everyone gets tired very quickly. We had people falling asleep in the suite at the Mirage. Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0 -
The Volcano @ MirageI love Walmart I really do but my wife is a much better person than me and she will not step inside because of the way the company has ruined so many peoples lives in addition to the way it has devistated whole towns in small town America, and no she wont go in ASDA here for the same reason. Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time0

The Bellagio FountainsThis time of year
Yeah I am a little worried about the heat.
Just wanted something a little special to do for about 4-6 hours on the afternoon.
Could go somewhere nice for a few drinks... but want to be capable of going for our meal on the evening lol
