it depends on the machine, but for most it's higher than that - we've taken $600+ on more than one occasion at the ones in casinos...some have lower limits like the one at Ellis Island...but in a lot of cases your UK bank daily limit will be lower than the machine limit (at least it has been the case with us).

I'm expecting delivery next week of the US$ I ordered from Crown Currency a few months ago at $1.59. :)

    Well done!
(I was too much of a coward to order from CC as i didn't like the idea of them having my money and losing it if they went to the wall before i got my $.)

Here are the shows we are intending seeing this trip. The only one I have booked at the moment is Tom Jones. I booked it as soon as it went on sale and got front row seats.

    Tom Jones
    Comedy Stop at the Trop
    Carrot Top
    Defending the Caveman
    Donny and Marie
    Legends in Concert
    Le Reve

I'm thinking I should book Donny and Marie before we leave and Le Reve if there is an offer on TravelZoo, the rest I'll book once we're there.

Also intending doing Mystery Adventures Las Vegas and should really get round to booking that as I want to do it on a Sunday afternoon.
    .

Donny and Marie doesn't discount so yes I'd suggest booking that one before you go as you're not saving anything by waiting. Go for central seats some of the side seats have restricted view (I think I sent you a link to a decent seating plan) and call to book to get specific seat numbers and to make sure they add your Total Rewards number as you get points for show tickets.

Lo people- hope your all ok.

I found a flight form Heathrow on Air Canada with a stop over in Toronto. Has anyone flew AC before- if so what did you think?

Hi - I flew AC to Vegas via Vancouver last August. I had left it late to book so the direct flights with Virgin were a lot more expensive. I was quite impressed with AC to be honest - the plane from LHR had a 2-4-2 layout.

The connection was pretty smooth and although not as good as going direct, we did take care of the immigration formalities whilst in Vancouver so arrived in Vegas as an internal flight and just strolled out to the taxi rank.

We have had $1000 quite often but never tried any higher so not sure what the actual limit is.

  • Morning guys,

I was wondering if i could get some advice about booking a Las Vegas get away.

A few of us (4) are thinking of going away for my brothers 21st birthday (30/04/2009).

We were thinking of going away for 7 days - maybe leave on the 29th? I don't think it's massively that we arrive on his birthday but it would be nice.

We'd like to stay in one of the nicer hotels - MGM etc.

I was wondering if anyone can suggest on how to find the cheapest deal?

Is it best booking the flight and hotel seperately or will a package deal work out better?

Can anyone suggest any tips - we were hoping to spend no more than £500-600 for the flight and accomodation.

Meals on plane would be nice but we're happy to cater for ourselves once we are there.

    Many thanks in advance!
