    Hang fire....

I'm sure I read somewhere recently that people got 50% off just by going to the Box Office at the Mirage on the day of the show. Some said it was for the late, 10pm, show, but someone else said they got it for the early show.

If you are there for a few days it might be worth checking out early in your trip.

    Luci,

Ta, I just tried booking but the website isn't working at the moment, got to admit i've looked a few times since Friday and the same seats been available every time. I was looking on the Sunday night which I gues might be one of the quieter evenings.

    Thanks again.

I've seen Love twice - the closer you are, the worse the view IMHO - much more enjoyable closer to the back than to the front. It's a fantastic show even if you're not a Beatles fan (like me) but if you are (like everyone else I've been with) it's incredible.

Carrot Top made us laugh until we were crying...almost always available at Tix4Tonight at 1/2 off at least early in the day...not sure what the DVD they are offering is but if it's Carrot Top Rocks Las Vegas, it's crap...we bought it (on ebay) after we saw the show and it's really poor in comparison - we didn't laugh once during the DVD. I have one that I've been unable to shift on ebay that anyone can have if they want it, but I wouldn't base anything on the DVD!

MacKing vouchers as mentioned are readily available in Vegas, but also in the ACG and POV...I wouldn't pay full price for the show though it is a really fun afternoon show. We've seen it twice. The only benefit for paying full price is you get seated first, but it's a small place and doesn't seem to be too full. If you DO go with a voucher go a bit early - first time we went we got there about 20 minutes before the show and I didn't make it back to my seat with our drinks before the show started as the queue for the drinks was quite long.

We're also toying with Elton...I really, really want to see him, but we're not even looking at the top-priced tickets and $175 each seems like so much...but as it's unlikely we'll get a chance to see him at that small a venue I'm tempted.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

For Love - if you don't want to wait until you get there (which sounds like it might be a good idea based on Luci's comments) you can get 25% off going through the Circque Club...it's free, and it will take you straight to the normal internet booking site...it will show the full price on the first screen, but after you make your selection it will show you the reduced price.

Dates to the end of March at the moment.

You can get 25% off certain dates through the Mirage site too. I'm going to hang fire and try when i'm out there, I won't be upset if I miss out.

ferf you are right, Nascar is different to F1, but attracts the same audience.

Yes totally enjoyed yesterday, was something different and would go again, atmosphere is electric, would recommend 100%

Seen mentioned about Sir Elton, get your tickets if you are attempting to see him before red piano finishes in advance, as you are probably aware, when he finished in early feb the tickets were been snapped up $300+ and some upto $1000
