Just to let you all know that we have received our 2 tickets for The Killers gig in April.

We purchased them via Ebay last Tuesday and they came on Friday which we were thrilled with!:j:beer::j

If any ones out there in April looking to try and get tickets to see them let me know as the person who sold me them still has 4 left.

Glad it all turned out OK for you. I must admit I was a bit concerned:T
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi all been looking at going to Vegas in november as there are some pretty good deals available. Question i have is about the flights, i will be starting off in glasgow flying to gatwick then to philadelphia then on to vegas. Has anyone flown via philadelphia before and is it easy to get your next flight with plenty of time? Total cost for all flights and hotel for 7 nights is £650 which i think is quite good but not sure so any advice on the flights would be appreciated.

I've flown Via Philly . It was OK but not 100% smooth. Customs and Immigration wasn't too bad ( about 30 mins i think ) .Baggage transfer drop is easy found and you just let the kid on duty sling it on the correct belt for you .

re entering the secure zone for connection was a bit more hassle than it should have been . quite a long queue about 20 mins wait in all. don't worry to much if you miss your connection as long as you are on a single ticket booking they will just sling you on the next one

The Airport itself is of usual american standard ( i.e far superior to a similar sized UK airport) , we made our 1hour 30 mins turnaround in plenty of time . shame US Airways could not depart it on time
Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:

We loved flying to LA via Philly last October - so much so we're choosing to go via there again this July. Everything went smoothly - I was worried about the tight time restrictions we had but there were no problems.

The airport is modern, well signed and efficient. Also has fab rocking chairs to sit on while you watch the world go by!

The airport is based round a hub with the different terminals strectching out like arms. Terminals are easily walkable. Check out the Marketplace shops, which are good, and if you have time, the eating places, again, all based in the one place with loads of seating in the middle.

I can recommend the Orange chicken at the Chinese / Asian eatery! But there's also pizza, hot dogs, etc. We liked it because everyone in the family wanted something different to eat and it was easy to please everyone. Not often you can say that when travelling!

    Hi guys,

Just 2 weeks to our trip & was looking at an offer on Goldstar.com for this show.

$70 red zone seating or $97 blue zone.

Is this show worth seeing? Will the offers at the half price booths be any better?

Also, do you ever get exact seat details when buying offers like this?

We're so looking forward to this, 4 nights at the Venetian & 3 at Planet Hollywood. The temperature increasing nicely too.

    Cheers,

We really liked BMG (saw it in London for £20 though!)...it is a fun show, but some people don't get it (some people hate it)...if you know what the show is and it sounds appealing then you'll probably enjoy out.

The tix4tonight sneak peak shows they have 40% off tickets for today - but no way to know how many were available.

    http://www.tix4tonight.com/shows/index.php

So it really depends on how much you want to see the show whether you want to take the chance or not.

As for whether you ever get to see the exact seats, with goldstar and bestofvegas, etc. not that I've seen - you normally only know the seating level...but you won't know any more than that at tix4tonight either - they only give you a voucher to redeem for tickets at the box office...only then do you know exactly where your seats are - though you could pick from those available if you preferred some over others.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I logged into my account yesterday only to find my flight times had been changed......no email telling me of this was recieved from Virgin.
Lucky it's a change for later flights but still it's a change to the itinery
our outbound flight is now 11.25 am and inbound 16.40.....a difference of 40 mins on both flights

Our return flight from LA in June has been put forward 30 mins. Had a phone call from Virgin to notify me of this and an email with new flight itinerary in my inbox a little later.
