it is if your staying at the casino , and nearly always free if your not. The Golden Nugget downtown charges a small fee to park there for example , i do not think any strip casinos do though

I never knew that, but if I go downtown I park in Main Street Station ground level car park which is free.
  • Never thought of looking at hotels on the site before but Netflights have some good prices. For 6 nights next month they're coming up with £530 for a Junior Suite at MGM Signature, £570 for a Deluxe room in Bellagio and £477 for a classic Caesars Palance room. Cheapest i've found so far.

I'd totally forgotten that some downtown casinos charge for parking as like photome we normally park at MSS.

At least some that charge for parking will waive the fee if you validate your ticket - usually a machine near the cage where you put your ticket in and punch it...so worth asking if they validate parking if it's unclear.

We find valet to be more of a hassle sometimes than self-park but totally depends on where we are going...we never valet or self-park at MGM or PH but a lot of places we'll just as soon self-park as we don't always know how long we will be somewhere...even when we do know, if self-park is more convenient for where we want to go next (many valet lines will drop you out on the strip which can be inconvenient). Sometimes it's nice to just go straight to your car and not face a long queue at valet. On check-out day we always self-park because we can make 2 trips to the car and have that last check of the room before we go...but it's about the same walk to self-park as valet for us...and if we had a potential wait for valet to bring the car I'd have us out there an hour early. :)
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Valet all the way, can't remember last time I had to open a car door myself;)
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Hi all been looking at going to Vegas in november as there are some pretty good deals available. Question i have is about the flights, i will be starting off in glasgow flying to gatwick then to philadelphia then on to vegas. Has anyone flown via philadelphia before and is it easy to get your next flight with plenty of time? Total cost for all flights and hotel for 7 nights is £650 which i think is quite good but not sure so any advice on the flights would be appreciated.

If you mean the outdoor parking between MSS and the bus station, they were charging $3 to get in and you got your money back from the casino cage in MSS. That was last November.

I think Philadelphia is one of the easiest transit airports. It is very straightforward, and much better than Chicago or Newark.

Whilst Chicago is vast I thought that the tarnsfer process there was very easy all on one monrail, Newark I dont like but Detroit is probably the worst I have been to.

Oh I hasten to add i have not changed planes in Philly
Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time

I am not sure if thats the one I mean,(it is just a single ground level car park) it is 2 years since I have been downtown, it was free then. Was thinking of a buffet this year at MSS so will have to go and get my fee back. thanks
