We play Angel Park mostly, one of the more reasonable courses. Club hire is $50 for Callaways, but we take our own in the luggage allowance. Last year they were doing a deal of free club hire if you showed them your boarding card and booked on line. Give them a ring and ask, all they can do is say no, but they are a good bunch there. they have 2x18hole Arnold Palmer designed courses, a floodlit par 3, practice range, and a lovely club house, they will also arrange free transport for you to and from your hotel. Rounds are about $80 depending on time of day. Twilight will start about 11am in June Other courses apart from the Municipal Las Vegas will set you back around $150-$250 a round, unless you play the Wynn at $500. If you want info on other just ask, I have played lots out there.

    Stoneman,

We arrive Vegas 06MAR and are planning to play on 07MAR (Saturday). We are 6 and have been recommended Wildhorse GC. My questions are would you recommend booking in advance and if so do you have any tips on sites or is it best to book direct with the course? Also is it possible to play on the twilight deal in March which I think is after 2pm, will there be enough daylight to get round?

    Thanks.

Link to Las Vegas magazine. (Previously Showbiz).

You have to register with the site to be able to request the magazine. I mistakenly remembered it as What's On in my previous post, sorry.

I always send for the 24/7 Magazine before every Vegas trip. It also comes with the Vegas Values coupon book which has some good coupons. This is the same book you get in taxis, but I like to have it before I go as I don't seem to find time to read it once I'm there.

Its with a high street travel shop (can't for the life of me remember thier name). I went back there today - the deal has gone (suprize!!) but she did tell me they were not direct flights (they were via san francisco).

Would changing at San Fran add a large amount of flight time? Not that it matters now as the deal has gone, but just curious really.

It depends on the time between the connections really impossible to say.

Wildhorse is OK, out towards Henderson. Best ring them direct to see what they can do for you, might supply you with some food or travel there and back. 2pm seems really late for twilight, Angel park starts at 12 this time of year, you would get around, not with 6 of you, and if you get a slow 4 ball in front you might be lucky to get 12 holes in. It will get dark at about 6pm, and I mean dark, LV doesn't seem to have dusk, it's sun shine, then it's dark. Have a look on their site most have good deals if you book on-line
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Approx 3 weeks in my experience. I will be ordering mine around 30/31 March and we go on 24 April.

Found out daylight savings starts on 8MAR so will get another hour of light which is good news. Have sent them an email to see what they can offer. Thanks again.
