Planet Hollywood offer of pay for 2 nights stay for 3. However they are really expensive for my dates at $359 for the weekend nights. I think the lowest rate I saw was $169

For some reason the last 3 characters aren't active on the link so I suggest copying and pasting it in full.

Another link for this promotion, hope someone can make use of it:

We play Angel Park mostly, one of the more reasonable courses. Club hire is $50 for Callaways, but we take our own in the luggage allowance. Last year they were doing a deal of free club hire if you showed them your boarding card and booked on line. Give them a ring and ask, all they can do is say no, but they are a good bunch there. they have 2x18hole Arnold Palmer designed courses, a floodlit par 3, practice range, and a lovely club house, they will also arrange free transport for you to and from your hotel. Rounds are about $80 depending on time of day. Twilight will start about 11am in June Other courses apart from the Municipal Las Vegas will set you back around $150-$250 a round, unless you play the Wynn at $500. If you want info on other just ask, I have played lots out there.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

I always send for the 24/7 Magazine before every Vegas trip. It also comes with the Vegas Values coupon book which has some good coupons. This is the same book you get in taxis, but I like to have it before I go as I don't seem to find time to read it once I'm there.

Thanks Luci. I used to get What's On sent to me, but they don't mail out of the US anymore, even though I still try every visit. I do it to make them think they are losing custom. Maybe if more of us did it, they might start up again. Just thought of that while posting, so I'll find my link for every one.
  • Some help needed - is £399 pp a good price for flights and 4 nights at Planet Hollywood on 29 April 2009?

Did stay at PH last Aug - loved it and am so tempted to book this deal - but is it a good one???

Yes. If you think a good flight price is £300 that means 4 nights at PH for £200, £50 per night or $75.

I think £399 is a good price, as I have just been pricing flights again so it would be for me.

Checked how much the flight only is and you will get a better idea.

Just priced ABZ>LAS for later in the year which is coming in at £561 flight only and that's with 2 stops in LHR and LAX. I was less than that going direct with bmi!

Barrhead Travel are £625 for GLA>LAS with one stop and 7 nights at PH, but we would have a 4 hour drive home after the long haul. Sounds like a lot, but less that £100 for 7 nights in the PH compared with flight only. Going from Aberdeen really bumps up the price.

Think I need to check out flights from GLA.

Thanks luci - I always forget about this though we did send for one for the in-laws in advance of our last trip, I had forgotten it came with a coupon book.

And mention of that reminded me of this...the weekly Vegas Values report which is updated each Sunday...we normally try to print it out or at least remember to check it online before our trip to see where they are doing special promotions/offers/discounts that might interest us and we might not hear about otherwise.

Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
