    Aliante Station: $14.95/night
    Boulder Station: $9.95/night
    Fiesta Henderson/Rancho: $7.95/night
    Green Valley Ranch: $24.99/night
    Palace Station: $9.95/night
    Red Rock: $24.99/night
    Santa Fe Station: $9.95/night
    Sunset Station: $9.95/night
    Texas Station: $9.95/night
    Wild Wild West: $5.40/night

    The posh places, I can (slightly with a lot of persuasion) understand the extra charge. It is for WiFi, Gym access, shoe shine, newspaper, fitness centre (if available) and airport shuttle (again, if available);

But the Wild Wild West??? Have you seen that place?

I hope that the charge for the Palace Station includes a service to clean the soles of your shoes on the way out and to cover loo paper for the pour souls that eat in their buffet.
Its Vegas time -no longer :T a five year old has changed Vegas time to Orlando time
  • The outlet mall at Primm isn't what it was - it used to be worth the drive there from Vegas for stores such as Timberland.

Last time I was there Timberland was closing and the Old Navy outlet had just become a regular Old Navy.

A lot of the stores that used to trade here have moved to the expanded Premium Outlet Mall near downtown Las Vegas.

Its still a cheap deal, but its worth mentioning the changes in Primm.

that's good to know. i must admit the last couple of times i've been to vegas i've not been bothered to travel down to primm due to the new outlet near downtown. that's one fantastic outlet! (even if they were playing rick astley the last time i was there!)

OK theyve sorted it out now after a month, but Thrifty charged my CC with $330 for the one way drop when I got back to the UK.

Fortunately on my CH3000 voucher, I had asked them to write in NO ONE WAY CHARGE for my Vegas to LAX hire.

It sounds like a genuine error, but make sure you get CH3000 to state no one way charge on your voucher when you book with them......what with all the vague statements about one way charges everywhere, its best to make sure youre covered.

PS I was even doing them a favour, taking a CA plated car back to CA for them.

The OP has stated quite clearly that this hotel is a 30 minute drive from Las Vegas.

I'm not saying the OP didn't I just wondered why anyone would want to go to the premier entertainment and hotel capital of the world and stay in a dump 35 miles away.
Factor in the travelling costs ( hiring a car for example ) and the endless hotel offers in downtown Vegas and it's a no-brainer.

This makes me nervous as our booking is also with Thrifty (though CH3000 said it would be with Dollar)...our voucher does state no one-way fees but so did yours, so..

For my reference should I need to go through the same process you have - did you just contact CH3000 to sort it out?
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

I have seen WWW but never been in, have you ? has anyone on here? Looks very small, No idea what you might get for $5.40 a night.

A friend of mine has been in there. I haven't bothered, there's too many good places to see.

I was under the impression that Thrifty and Dollar were partners. don't know where I got the idea from though.

This is where I got it from.
