Do all hotels/casinos have a players card and where do you get it from?

    Thanks,
AFAIK they all have them. You don't need to get one for every casino though, MGM Mirage group have 5 or six casinos on the strip and Harrahs have about the same, Station casinos have a few but all off strip, Wynn has 2, just google each to find out. (can't be bothered to do it myself) so you only need one card for each group. Go into the casino and head straight for the "players club" desk to sign up, you will need to take your passport.
P.S. duchy beat me to it:p
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

For info on signing up for players clubs you can check here:

    http://www.advantageplayer.com/lasvegas/index.html

Click on slot club sign-up bonuses on the left...it will give you a list of the freebies at last update and from there you can get an idea which casinos are part of the same group.

  • Personally I stay there because I fly into Vegas on a Sunday Afternoon, pick up my kit from the office and have to be in Los Angeles for 9am Monday morning, so I stay there as it is easier to be 30/40 mins closer to LA than staying in Vegas Central. I can leave Primm at 6am Monday and be in LA for 9am

And the same on the way back, I leave LA on a Wednesday afternoon, get to Primm early evening stop there for the night then toodle into Vegas early Thursday to dump my kit before flying out on a Thursday Afternoon

Although that will all change soon now BMI have decided to stop direct flights to Vegas from April. So I need a new Bus route to work!

Yes CH3000 sorted it out with Thrifty. Just keep all the documents, including the itchy and scratchy sheet, as I thought they were going to claim it was scratched or dented.

If youve got the no one way fee on the voucher, dont worry.

I'm a total liar - just double checked and rental is with Alamo (was originally with Thrifty, then they said it would be with Dollar when I mentioned the no-one way thing, ended up getting a voucher for Alamo)...but it does say no one-way fee and says 'paid in full' in gigantic letters, so.

    Fingers crossed!

We have stayed there and it is a bit like Laughlan. Its on the border with California and you get lots of day trippers who come on coaches at the weekend, to gamble. Saying that we quite enjoyed it for a couple of days and we had a hire car for our whole stay in Vegas, but would't go if I was only in vegas for a week or so.

great outlet mall and couple of golf courses... got to be worth looking at a night or 2!!

IMO it isnt worth looking at.

If you want a holiday in Vegas then stay in Vegas...hotels from $20 a night at the moment, free at the IP if you have a total rewards card.

If you are on a road trip and just passing it is to close to Vegas to warrant stopping there.

As has been said it is worth an hour or two for the outlet mall ( or used to be, maybe not anymore) and a ride on Desperados at BB.

Also with the traffic it takes more than 30 minutes.

Yes it is a good price but as someone else pointed out you dont go to London and stay in Reading

I would say it's like Laughlin only in that it's not Vegas. :)

Laughlin has the river, loads more hotels and casinos and an In-and-Out Burger. It does have the edge on Laughlin in terms of rides (though the river rides are pretty cool) and the outlet in Primm is slightly better than the one in Laughlin...and Laughlin is about an hour and a half drive...I can't see us staying in Primm as it's a lot shorter drive to Vegas from there - Laughlin I can only see if maybe on the way back from somewhere further afield.
