    Tried hubby's TR No and he has the same comp offers as I have. We are both Gold card members.

    Did you try them together - as the other's companion? Not sure if it will make a difference - it did for us when we were both gold, but there is no rhyme or reason to the system. :)

    Also, actually, if he has the same comp nights that you have - could one book the first 2 nights and the other book the last 3 nights and get them all comped? We used to do that too. :)
    Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

    Just a mention for anyone that gets to stay in the Augustus Tower at Caesars. We phoned down to ask if they did a turn-down service and they set it up, and there is no charge. Haven't had it in any other hotel we have stayed in but then again we never asked. They come in and freshen up your towels, give the room a once over, turn back the bed, place your robes out on the bed, turn down the lights, put your T.V. on low, and place 5 chocolate gold coins on the bedside table. It was really nice to come back to after a night out.
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    The posh places, I can (slightly with a lot of persuasion) understand the extra charge. It is for WiFi, Gym access, shoe shine, newspaper, fitness centre (if available) and airport shuttle (again, if available);

    But the Wild Wild West??? Have you seen that place?

    This Coupon

    Is for an $89 Lobster meal for two at the Palm in the Forum Shops. Don't know what the discount is, but $45 pp for lobster might be worth it.

    I'm not keen on Lobster personally.

    call me stupid, but what are comped rooms (apart from being complimentry) and how and why do you get them?

    They are exactly that complimentary (free). You need to be a players club member of that casino. Total rewards (harrahs hotels) have been offering comps for players with no play, at least the IP has...wish some of the others had though.

    I have seen WWW but never been in, have you ? has anyone on here? Looks very small, No idea what you might get for $5.40 a night.

    Yes I checked all the other hotels, but none were comped. I was surprised to even get the IP comped as we are really tiny, low rollers and only play the slots.

    Any time previously I have checked TR, the rates have been the same logged in as not logged in, that is why I am so surprised and delighted.
    We have had one night comped as well via the same casino host Luci and we never gamble....I'm assuming it was because we have been before and booked via the same route

    The OP has stated quite clearly that this hotel is a 30 minute drive from Las Vegas.
