The Bellagio FountainsHeads-up for those that don't want to risk the LCI deal meantioned in this thread, you can now get the same (or so it seems) rates for Paris via this friends and family offer:
That's great- thanks! Even during NAB the rates do indeed seem to be the same as the LCI rates. Interesting that it's only Paris that seems to be offering the friends and family offer...wonder why that is?Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsHeads-up for those that don't want to risk the LCI deal meantioned in this thread, you can now get the same (or so it seems) rates for Paris via this friends and family offer:The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

The Bellagio FountainsI'm a happy little bunny. We have 5 nights booked at the IP although we're only staying 4 now, and I was happy with the rates we got as we got one comped night.
I just logged into my TR account and found that the first two nights are considerably cheaper and the other 3 nights are comped! Just called them and they have amended the reservation so I am well happy.
I know others have a problem with the IP, but we never have. We always stay in a deluxe room and have never had a dirty room as others have found. We requested a pool side room via a casino host and that is a good and handy location.
Staying in a budget hotel for a few days means we can afford to stay in the Signature for a few days.0 -
The Bellagio FountainsSeems very good for some dates but I costed againt the LCI deal for April 21-28 and the LCI comes in at $480 and the friends and family is $760
Odd as the 16th to 21st were coming out exactly the same between the offers.
Just goes to show it's worth checking all options out there.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

Did you happen to check if any of the other hotels were giving you similar deals? We've been really surprised before - like last year where Caesars popped up comped for the first time ever and for no particular reason (except possibly it was summer). Regardless, congrats - I love the TR system and it's been very kind to us the last several years.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsYes I checked all the other hotels, but none were comped. I was surprised to even get the IP comped as we are really tiny, low rollers and only play the slots.
Any time previously I have checked TR, the rates have been the same logged in as not logged in, that is why I am so surprised and delighted.0 -

Excellent! It is such a nice feeling to see those comps pop up.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio Fountainscall me stupid, but what are comped rooms (apart from being complimentry) and how and why do you get them?0

This might be a place to mention this - if you're travelling with someone who also has a TR card, try different combinations of the two to see what works out the cheapest.
For my husband (platinum) and me (gold)...normally he can get a room cheaper than if we add me to his booking (not always but usually)...so usually if he goes into his account and goes to reservations and books for 2 people - WITHOUT my TR number included in the companion box is normally cheaper (so I am a liability it seems).
So in those cases, normally he books 5 nights as that's what he can normally get comped without me as a companion...then I book the last 2 or 3 nights on my card without him as a companion.
But that isn't always the best - just depends...in April we did way better booking through his account and adding me than without adding me...normally that results in it costing more, this time less.
So weird!Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
The Bellagio FountainsTried hubby's TR No and he has the same comp offers as I have. We are both Gold card members.0
