Hello honey and welcome. Best thing is to start with things you no you have a good chance of doing, i normally throw myself into this kind of thing with long lists then give up because i can never keep to them, so this time im trying to only do what i can and also look at the things i have done rather then things i havent......
Im going to try and do the flylady first level everyday this week and see how i get on....also have a small pile of books next to me which im about to look at on amazon to see what they go for and list as long as its worth it.....

hi honey
been there with a LO and will be again soon eek!
My advice is to make your meal plan/weekly shop/and cooking tea your main chore of the day. If you have the food in, you can do part of prep early when you have more energy, also try a bulk cooking day for LO's weaning food and pop it in ice cube trays so you will have food for when needed.your plan sounds good though, keep it simple as its hard when you are tired.0 -
Well made a food plan for the day, trying to use up what we have and what we like that are similar, yesterday we all had vegetable sheps pie and today i have one i put aside and kept some mash to make hubby and lads meat sheps pie today. Have done my shop list as well, and worked out the costing of it (still too much tho!). Had two huge binbags of ironing and got that halved now. I did give some rooms a good clean and tidied up, organised sons wardrobes etc but he had a friend round and the house is now a pit again!I got the kitchen looking great yesterday but within half an hour hubby had bags of newspapers and other stuff everywhere aagh!Am i facing a losing battle do u think lol!grocery challenge jan 17 £ / 350.000

ANyway, i went to a great new exercise class this morning and have cleared the kitchen and hallway. DD is now watching cbeebies for a minute until her brothers come back so I will continue to clear the decks....there's always something to do.0 -

things seem to be going great ladies :T
dinner is cooking away (bolognese in SC), Oh will be off to work shortly, dd is playing on the kids pc, ds on the xbox and i am on my pc
kitchen is tidy, surfaces wiped, toilet cleaned, d/w almost ready to go again.
i think the t/d is finished so need to fold the washing and have an eye on the spaghetti.
kids have been really great today. it does help when you play lots with them
it's been raining here for a change but ds still wanted to go outside - he always checks if any of the neighbours kids are in and then invites himself and stays for hours - luckily they are all great and don't mind :j - but they all were at school!
does anybody have an easy muffin recipe? would like to bake some with the kids!0 -
Hiya Honey! I feel the same as you, OH is really great and helps out, but I'm so rubbish at organising my day so everything get's done. He say's he doesn't mind helping at all but I feel as if I should be able to do it. I only have 1 DD (7 months) so I have no excuse!
So far today I have done very little but I did get the 2 weekly shop done! Phew! It was heavy work!
Also went for my daily walk in the rain and wind- big pat on the back!! DD was cosy in her pushchair, in her cosy toes under her raincover and I looked and felt like a drowned rat! My hair is seriopusly frizzy now! Best get me straighteners out again!
Gonna get an early start on dinner prep so it can be ready for when OH comes home (I'm inspired!) He is working outside so he will be all cold and wet!0 -
Afternoon all, you;'ve all been so busy while I've been at work!
I will have to do today's task tomorrow as I've only just read it but funnily enough I have spent the whole day feeling guilty about how much tea and coffee I;'ve been drinking!!That's Numberwang!0 -
Well I did drag myself out to the shop and was extremely jealous of Ds all tucked up nicely under his raincover! Have just put dinner in the slowcooker (beef casserole) put a cake in the oven for DH lunches this week and sorted monkey's tea out. Have still got to hoover (will wait til DS has finished his nap to do this), fold up and put away the washing and make the bed as well as go to Asda tonight to do the shopping. Just having 5 minutes to myself at the moment with a nice cup of coffee until monkey wakes up and the fun starts lol!
Had a quick chat with my DH at lunchtime (he came home as he'd been working since 8am yesterday morning and had no lunch with him!) about the job and I've decided to apply for it. Looking forward to the possibility of going back to work but feeling extremely guilty putting DS into nursery!! The upside is because its a job in a school it's only term time so I'll still always be off when DH is off and DS won't be in nursery ALL the time!0 -
Well i had a good afternoon/evening. The lunches are done and the clothes for tomorrow are all set out for tomorrow. All thats left from my list for the night is to load up washing machine so all it has to have done in the morning is to be switches on!! Also to sort out something for myself to wear....
Which i will do when little ones are asleep - i can hear them playing up as i type upstairs so i will be up there in a minAlso i will iron at least 5 things this evening - might even push it to 10
I feel little and often will slowly get the pile down without me getting stressed hurting legs etc etc.
My house is in reasonable order and i feel i have played with the girls lots today and also read stories at bed time without thinking oh i really should be washing up/hoovering/ironing etc etc etc......
Well best go and sort dd2 out as i can hear footsteps running along the floor now!!!!GC: Nov: £60.22/£450 Oct: £338.48/£450, July: £363.05/£450, June £447.98/£500£2 savers No68: £104/£100 :j:jmummy to: 8yr, 5yr, 3yr, 2yr, 1yr. No6 Due Mar 2013 My world.:j0
