I'm so so sorry to hear your sad news. My father in law died suddenly on 12 December so we're going through very similar at the moment. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. Big hugs.

He doesn't really mind working tonight, just wishes that everyone would realise he and his colleagues are just trying to keep everyone safe, so all can have a good time. In case I don't get time to post before I leave tomorrow, I'd just like to thank you for the lovely support I've received tonight. I hesitated to post because Christmas is a happy time and I had no wish to drag people down, but I have to say your support and well wishes mean an awful lot. I'm sat here crying, a mixture of sadness and joy. I'm under no illusion that there are hard times ahead, but I've just survived the first of the "firsts". Special thanks to those friends that have PM'd me. You will never know how much that has meant to me. God bless you all, and Happy New Year to everyone.

A special mention here to a new friend mudgekin. I've caught up with threads that tell of the devastating news you and Dh have received. My prayers and hopes are with you, and thank you so much for your concern when you have so much to deal with yourselves.:kisses3:
