Churchmouse-What a shock for you,I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad.
Sat at home with DH,first time in years we havent gone out,but we seem to have had a hectic time this week and am glad of a night in.This afternoon we went to Cleveleys to see DHs uncle, not seen him for ages. His wife had made us a lovely buffet for lunch-it was nice to catch up.Bit scary travelling in the fog on the motorway, there was an accident on the other side,we heard on the radio that a poor soul had died.
DS1 sent a text this morning-he and his DF have moved on from Singapore and are now in Thailand,he will try to ring later.DS2 has gone to the pub tonight, hope he stays local with taxis double fare.
Going to cook the Aldi 3 bird roast tomorrow so looking forward to that.Made a massive rice pud in the slow cooker due to us not using much milk recently, and have frozen it in portions.
I'd like to wish all on here a happy, healthy New Year for you and yours.See you next year! xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0 -
