I am thoroughly broke so it should not be too hard to stick to.;)
Hi Puss14, my sentiments exactly. I've had 2 blips whilst on this challenge but I think that if I'd actually got *any* money then I would have had a lot more blips.
I'm always trying to find a positive :rotfl:

I have to confess to slipping while on holiday.
I had to buy body cream and aloe vera gel for sunburn.
Shame i couldnt bring them home though, no room in my bag
Hi jinky67, poor you, a triple whammy!! Sunburn, a spend, and then having to leave it behind  , I hope you have happy memories of your hols that last forever, or at least until you forget the blip.

Used up two travel size shampoo and conditioner today .... and thank goodness, because they were GROSS!!!
On a plus note, today I got a free tester sample of a new Liz Earle product (foot cream) so I am very happy indeed (although the potential for more spends is huge!) because it means I can stop using that gammy hand cream on my feet for a while... the downside being I will still have to use it at some point

Hello everybody,
well today I unwrapped my last bar of soap, I'm hoping it lasts until the 10th April otherwise I'll be using the horrible sea shelled shaped things in my drawers  :rotfl: :rotfl:

Bonjour chaps!
Sorry I have been AWOL for so long - it's that wonderful time of year when I can actually start getting out in the garden again (another obsession, lol - I just bounce from one addiction to another!) Still, at least it's keeping me out of Boots - although B&Q and Homebase are getting rather more of my cash than I'd like at the moment!
Just had a re-read of the thread since I was last here, so glad to see so many familiar names are still going strong - and well done fedupandskint for already completing your first 100 days and piling straight back in!
To fedupandskint, Magni & all my other fellow-wobblees, don't beat yourself up too much - you're only human and this is a 'challenge' after all. You're doing great, and you're much stronger than you give yourself credit for - now climb back on the horse and off you go! :T
northern.lights - v. happy to see you're feeling the Ultrabland love, and well done for trying before you did any buying! Forgot to mention before, is also fabulous on my little boy's excema when it flares up and also on my wizened old crone gardening hands. So am I forgiven for the enabling, and do you think we can convert any of the other LE addicts to the way of the 'Bland??
Sarah - you're working through the grim lotions and potions too, hey? I can empathise, although sometimes, you just have to let them go... :rotfl:
And now for the 'fessions: Had a couple of Lush wobbles - more Ultrabland, a Skinny Dip shower bar, Ocean Salt scrub & a new Lemony Flutter (but formula has changed, so oily now, boo!), and on a separate occasion a Hot Milk bubble bar and a Big Fluffy Clouds bath slice. I did get nice free samples of gorgy moisturiser with them though, so not all bad. In fact I think I've fallen in love with Lush all over again - before I used to view it as almost 'my right' to have Lush stuff for every concievable purpose, now I've been away from all but my staples for a while it feels all nice and treaty again - as it should do, frankly. It definitely comes down to perspective, and I think mine has been skew-whiff for a long time.
Gosh, that was a bit soul-searching for nine on a Wednesday night!
Anyhoo - the good news is still no Heat or random gossip mags (can't believe I haven't read Heat this year!) no books (and have even given some to charity shops), no make-up (ta-da!) and (drum roll please....) still no cigarettes! Woo-hoo! My lovely friend has managed to stick at it too, and it's had a knock-effect as now her partner, sister and friend have all packed it in too. I'm so proud of her! :T
Not much longer to go now - and like fedupandskint I'll be signing up for another 100 days too. I do intend to buy a new lipstick and a mascara (a reddish-brown Benefit lippy and the waterproof black Badgal mascara, since you asked - I don't think a make-up purchase has ever been so well-planned!) but I'll be back on the wagon and with a new list of things to stay away from - cakes and bedding plants spring immediately to mind! :rotfl:
Right, as always an epic post from me- hope everyone's happy and well, a big welcome to all the new recruits, and keep keeping strong gang!

I have been battling an urge to buy some skincare products that I have wanted for ages. They are 50% off and I want them so bad, I don't know if I'll be able to resist.
Good luck everybody. Oh yes I am going to add soda and potato crisps to my challenge- I will need a lot of willpower with these;)Thailand 3010/15000 20150
