Went to Boots to get pain relief tablets and since I was there I bought some new mascara, which I desperately need. Good thing is make-up is excluded from my challenge, and anyway I used a voucher so I didn't actually spend any moneyGC March Wk1 £28.72/£30 Wk2 £28.4/£29

Have just sat through the last hour of Liz Earle on QVC.... and wasn't even tempted!
This thread really is making me think about things before I buy

Same here! Felt a bit tempted by the One Time Only and the Superskin Kit with 200ml C+P and talked myself out of it as already have lots of unopened C+P. Switched over the watch Comic Relief instead to get away from the soothing voice of Liz and Julia - really thought strongly about what I needed and did not need after all!:j

Great to see all you QVC addicts doing so well:j Thankfully I have never given in to the shopping channels but many many times I almost bought Sheer Cover. I then found some much cheaper mineral makeup on eBay and bought that instead;) That was about 18 months ago now and I still have most of it unused:o It's just so messy:eek:
I have used up a bottle of fabric conditioner and a bottle of laundry liquid (the proper name for these escapes me but I think you'll know what I mean:rotfl: ). These aren't in my challenge but I have kind of been staying away from these as well as they are another problem area in my life. I just can't resist the bargains when they are on offer and tell myself that at least I'll always need it. I'm going to add these to my next 100 day challenge. Also cleaning products. I keep buying them and unfortunately it's not in proportion to the amount of cleaning I do:rotfl:100 Day Pot £13

I'm still on track - was tempted by a free cd in NME and the JAde wedding issue of OK magazine but resisted - can't believe I've managed this so far! HAve started reading the magazines that come into work that I normally stick straight in the recycling, so adding to knowledge too instead of learning who's ***ing who each week!
Unbelieveably, I also gave up chocolate for Lent - I hadn't dared add it to this challenge initially, cos I never thought I would do it, but that's going well too! I barely recognise this disciplined me! lolGOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

I haven't posted on here for ages as I haven't used much up but am still doing OK. I am hoping to use up a bottle of shower gel in the next week or so (and I worked out it has been in my cupboard for about 5 or 6 years )
I am fully in control of shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and mouthwash again thanks to this thread. I do have three bottles of mouthwash in the cupboard but it had all gone and was on 3 for 2 before I bought it again.
I am still overrun with shower gel and bath bubbles/oils etc, I can't wait to see the back of them.
I also need to crack on through the dinky bottles of things that I have that I keep for going on holiday but that accumulate faster than I can use the flipping things.£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Same here, I used to stockpile these for holidays but I only went away once last year and now I have a drawer full of stuff. I worked out I have the equivalent of another 3 or 4 pots of 50ml moisturiser in 15ml tubes - doh!:o
Will use some in the summer I think and maybe sell a couple of the big tubes on ebay or keep them for next year!
Used up an SBC Lavender Shower Gel which I did not like at all - it didn't even have a lavender fragrance to it!
Moving on the 2 sets of ojon shampoo and conditioner on ultra hydtrating and one shine version - both not that great in my opinion and can't wait until they are used up. Won't be for a long time as are nearly full!
Only other things that are nearly used up are a serum and neck gel, think that's all for now. Need to stop watching Liz Earle shows as it is tempting me beyond belief even tho' I have loads of unused Cleanse and Polish and Toner in large and small sizes
This part of the challenge is still going strong but the crisps and chocolate is
v. hard! Managing the not buying ready meals and cooking properly. Dying for choccie (only cos it is that time of the month!). Really want some mini eggs!
Well done everyone for hanging in there! :j Bye for now!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
