Well done fedupandskint, fantastic effort!
I feel a bit the same that once the 100 days is over I may go back to my old buying ways. It's also been great for my waistline not buying chocs or crisps, I've lost about 5 kilos all up
I may extend my challenge too ... although I really miss having my diet coke at the movies, so that may just be my exception.Couch to 5K Running 2009/2010/2011

I agree!! Well done fed up!!!
I am thinking that I should extend my challenge to cut out some of the rubbish that I eat for my 100 days.......but I dont think I can!!!!
For those of you who have not eaten chocolate, crisps etc - HOW DID YOU COPE?!?!? Hopefully you will inspire me to try.......Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Hello everybody,
I hope you are all well and keeping up with the challenge. I haven't visited the thread for a few days as I have been a bit busy but I am still managing with the challenge.
Well done FedUp, :j I'm so pleased for you, you must be well chuffed, you deserve to be proud of yourself. Especially now that you've had your LBM and have changed your mindset, things can only get better.:T

OMG FedUp, that list is HUGE!!! Well done!! I'm glad you're doing so well.... I am testing myself too with the dreaded QVC, although actually, there is nothing on there I actually want or need at the moment... Its funny, but when I'm not actaully wanting to buy anything, I realise just how stoopid they sound telling you the you 'need all this stuff to improve your life' and all that nonsense! Thanks to all of you for your kind words - it is lovely to read them! :T
The list is sooooooo huuuuuugggge because I worked on using all the half opened or less things first - stuff I would have chucked out carelessly before. I have found it lovely using these things up and cutting them open to scrape all the lst bits and blobs out!
I cannot believe the changes I have made thanks to this thread it has saved me an absolute fortune I do not have and has really made feel me much more objective about how the products work and if they are worth the money
Before I wouldn't have given a hoot about that and would have bought it whether I needed it or not. My thinking has changed at last :j
I finally went for a haircut today to cheer myself up after the pain of 2 car crashes, no haircut for 5 months and looking terrible and my brace removal a month agoI wasn't going to go back to the salon due to the cost but I love how they cut hair there so I went with a L1 stylist and used my NUS card (far too old to be a student, it for my course at work!) for a good discount and thought why not?
I nearly went to a local salon who were doing 'credit crunch deals' but then the deal disappeared and the price disappeared so I changed my mind and cancelled as I felt they were having one over on me
My hair looks more stylish at lastand I'm going to pop a colour on it myself after some intensive hair treatments this week (may as well use some of that bloomin' Ojon and Phillip Kingsley stuff up
) I stocked up on a few hair styling products today in Boots as they are the only things I seem to run out of. Funny, I never viewed them in the same way as the other things I endlessly bought.
Stocked up on offers of hair style products, mouthwash and toothpaste so should be ok for the next 100 days! Not meaning I broke any rules as I left hairstyle products off the challenge because I did not have the same addictive relationship with them!
Good luck to everyone else on the challenge, C'mon you're nearly there too!!:Dfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Evening/Night everyone :hello: I can't sleep again so am just feeding my MSE addiction
Fedupandskint, yet again I am amazed. You are such an inspiration!
My husband has informed me he will try to use some of my Tressemme shampoo instead of buying a new one. I am more than happy to let him, as I bulk bought a few months ago and now I think I'm good for a couple of years! :rotfl:GC March Wk1 £28.72/£30 Wk2 £28.4/£29

Haha, I couldn't have coped with cutting them all out, would definitely have fallen off the wagon.
My challenge is that I can't purchase any myself ... so you can have them but only if someone else has bought them for you
It's a great way of cutting down without fully denying yourself!Couch to 5K Running 2009/2010/2011

Ohhh now - that definately sounds more realistic!!! Problem with that is, I never buy the chocolate anyway.....my BF always brings some round - more for his benefit than mine!! I love nuts and crisps though - if I stop buying those I would definately cut down.
I think I will 'trial-run' this for the rest of my 100 days - im only on day 11 anyway.........Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying
