Evening everyone :hello: - hope you have all had a good weekend!
Doing well still this week, not bought any unnecessaries. Did get deodorant the other day tho, but had run out - it wasn't even on bogof! And contact lens solution but I don't count that as I don't stockpile it and it's not like I can use a substitute product. Will also need to get DD some conditioner next week. Still working on the shampoo which I report on ages ago. I think part of the problem is that 'almost run out' for me actually means 'about a third left still'!! :rotfl:
Well done Magni on picking yourself up again. I don't post every day here but I do try to drop in most days just to see how everyone is doing - it always inspires me and I think this helps me stick to the challenge.
And Northern Lights where are you? Come on now, you know confession is good for the soul!! :rotfl:
Well done to everyone - see you all in the week.Grocery challenge: Jun£134.15/£120; Jul £60.90/£1200 -

Hi Jo, I'm sure it is fine for you to join now. I joined just when I found this thread and ran the 100 days regardless and it is Day 92 now for me :j
I was in a similar sounding situation to you and this thread has saved me from continuing me non stop buying of creams lotions and potions shower gels etc.
I have only had one blip that I have sold on at a loss of £5. I have since had an objective clear out and decided what I will never use again and sold some of it on ebay. Haven't missed a thing I have sold on. Next step is to see if anyone will buy used cosmetices only touched by a brush to reduce my massive make up bags amounts.
I love seeing the amounts in my bathroom, wardrobe and drawers reduce ever so slightly and I have a clearer head now to decided what is working for my skin than before when I bought more or less everything they sold on QVC. I got through all the Christmas TSVs without caving in when before I would have bought them all on a CC with no thought about the cost.
Jo, hopefully this challenge will help you like it has helped me and others. Start it today if you like and I'm starting again on 11 March and other people finish their 100 days on 10 April. You'll be surprised how quick it goes, some days are difficult, others flyby with no cravings to buy.
Post on here for support and we'll help you all we canfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Hello everybody,
Well I'm sad to say that I've fallen off the wagon BIG style
I've ordered some books from Amazon and have spent 31.39pounds.
On a positive (if not ironic) note is that they are all about thriftyness and money saving, so hopefully they'll help recoup some of the expenditure.;)
So close and yet so far.....Hey oh.

I've had a good weekend as I've been at work and have even managed 2 NSDs for March already:j
Welcome xx_Jo_xx, you've been added:D
Kerfuffle, I'm sure we can forgive your blip. Enjoy your books:D Think how many you would have bought without this challenge:eek: That thought keeps me sane and on the right path (most days:rotfl: ).100 Day Pot £13
