Welcome to the challenge JaneLiz, you have been added to the list at the start:D

I haven't been on here in a while as I have been bad:o and too ashamed to come on. I have been in Superdrug:eek: (avoiding Boots is all very well but I should avoid all chemists:o  ) and they had 342 on Maybelline, GOSH and a free Barry M eye pencil when you bought 2 products. Needless to say I took advantage of all these offers:o

I think the deprivation finally got to me and I had a blow out. I feel quite bad about it but I love my new stuff:o Cold turkey maybe isn't such a good idea for me. I am still really good on the skin and hair care stuff:A I find that so much easier. I really don't need any more make up though and I still want to actually finish a make up item so that I can have the great feeling of binning it because it's used and not because it has gone "off":o

Well done to everyone who has stayed strong:beer: I'm so jealous:o

Hiya Magni, didn't think I'd seen you around for a while...
Don't worry about your slip, there are a few of us that have had them. I think its hard going from one extreme to the other!

Hey Fedup, that's a coincidence, :T it's a small world, whereabouts in Yorkshire ? if you don't mind saying.

West Yorks :D Close to Leeds :D How about you?

    Magni,

I wondered where you were? It happens sometimes. Just pick yourself up and carry on my dear. I'm not strong enough to carry on when my 100 days ends soon to do this on my own and I'll be carrying on for another 100 days and I can see myself doing the next 100 days after that too. Just try and pop on the thread a bit more it might help when you feel a bit weak.

Even tho' I've had one blip and sold it on at a loss. I've found my last bag of make up today which I have not been able to find. It is stuffed to the gills with yet more make up. I can't see myself using all of this up there is so much of it (used). Tons of smashbox blusher/face colours, tons of lippy and gloss, Laura Geller bits and bobs. Hey ho.....

    Hey Fedup,

That's not too far from where I was!!!!!!!! :T

I was born and bred in Bradford, then moved to Halifax, then moved to Canada.

You never know, our paths may have passed in the past.:rotfl:

Thanks fedup. I know that I need to come on here every day to stay strong. The people on here are great and very supportive and that combined with staying away from chemists should make things a lot easier. When I feel the urge for new make up I'm going to "shop" from the things I already have and I really want to use up a make up item some time this decade:rotfl:

Your make up bag sounds devine:D

Thanks fedup. That's very kind of you. Smashbox is one brand I've heard a lot about but never tried. I'll pm you.

I got through yesterday without any slip ups and today I'm staying in and having a NSD. Kids are at school so I'm going to try to get a few items ready to be listed on eBay on Sunday. Not make up though. I have a tonne of baby clothes and kids clothes I have been meaning to get rid of for ages. I'm great at procrastinating:rolleyes: I'm going to try and make a few quid to offset my slip up.

I have been reading The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic (again). I love these books and am rereading the 1st one again before I see the film. I don't know if any of you have read them but you should. I'm finding it strangely motivational and I just love Becky Bloomwood:D She's a great, likeable character and I can see so much of myself in her.
