OOOh for the grace of God go I,
I watched in the Salon with Decleor last night on QVC, saying to myself 'I'll just watch and get some tips' as it is one of my fave brands.
I watched and they showed a One Time Only - looked and thought that's god value. Weighed it up in my mind
Can I justify it - NO
Do I need it - NO
How much do I have to use up - LOTS
Despite all this I still picked the phone up to order, luckily the 'sold out' sign came up as I got through to order.Put the phone down and had a lucky escape.
Might be nearly at the end of the 100 days in a couple of weeks but not there yet to manage long term
Thank goodness I deliberated long enough to delay the phonecall while I wrestled in my mind what to do and it sold out!
A difficult hour all round. Why don't I just stop watching??? I know what it leads to afterall
Note to self **Learn this lesson, don't watch** :rolleyes:final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
See I have more or less given up watching QVC too.
Got bored of it thankfully, cos Philosophy is my all time fav stuff, but i have sooooo much of it I have twice been able to send stuff to friends and not miss it at all:o:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Hi all,
I am still going strong. I have had to make the decision as to whether I love skincare products more than being debt free and after much deliberation I have decided I don't. I think I should keep doing these challenges until the end of the year as I probably have enough hair and skincare products to do that;) (actually I 'd say i have enough haircare for 2-3 years:o )Thailand 3010/15000 20150 -

Bought an item in each of the three challenge categories today...
They are going in hospital bag though and I'm not allowed to touch them until I go in to be induced or until after Bean arrives by natural means...
Definitely allowed in those circumstances!! When's the due date?
Over half way through the challenge, downward slope to the end, for those of us who started 1 Jan. Gone quite quick really.0 -
HI Everyone
For some reason my Freeview box keeps tuning out of QVC!
It's clearly a very DFW type of box!:rotfl:

Hey guys, still doing well with my challenges and have finished a few products recently, only taken me a few years with some of them!!
Yesterday i finished off a perfume i bought a few years back and then stopped using ages ago. Also finished a moisturiser off that i hadn't been too keen on and previously would have been chucked. Also a bottle of hair curling stuff, again that i have had for years. Products are going down, although i have been sent a few freebie products to test, so doesn't go down for long!! At least they are free!!
Have only bought two mini mars bars since the 1st Jan and that was only because i was at college, had had no tea and there was nothing else available.
Sounds like people are doing well! I am only going to pay for my one Avon order in April that i placed before Christmas when i wasn't doing this challenge and then i will be intending to buy no more beauty products till the end of the year. The perfume will be the hardest, but i have loads of that anyway!:j Live on £4500, £2531/£4500:T 101 in 1001 (52/101):j:beer::j

Well I posted earlier in the thread and was told even though I'm late I can still join in, so here I am!
Could you add me to the list please?
For the next 100 days I'm not going to...
buy any clothes unless it's absolutely necessary (ie underwear, school clothes, etc)
buy any new shoes because I really don't need any more
eat no chocolate (was going to include crisps but do I have the willpower?? should I?)
and no impulse buys
Sound good? Hope it's okay for me to join inSealed Pot challenge #508

JaneLiz welcome and good luck with your new challenge.:j
When the new challenge starts I'm copying urg123 and am going to avoid lattes from coffee houses, and just stick with the cheaper 'house blend' option.
