  • Tracey - great news on the Avon.... and I don't know about you but I'm not counting anything bought with points :o (although I am trying to stick to the principle of only buying when I run out)

    call the EU!

I am still going strong, did have to buy some toner cos I have completely run out and it is really helping with the spots! (its simple stuff)

but apart from that its good, I don't miss magazines, which is weird and I have nearly run out of body lotion. been using up old face cream and foot cream so far. I like this challenge, throwing away empty bottles is very satisfiying!

    xxxx

The EU :D , may well be needed. Its ridiculous the amount of money I have wasted on carp.Change letters to suit :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Im not missing magazines either ,and its not even part of my challenge, but just stopped buying them. I hope I have beaten my New Look sale shopping addiction....as I hardly wear these tops that I buy.....its a real waste of money.
I appreciate Each and Every win. I thank every comp poster from the bottom of my heart :A

Well OK do do online, and they're advertising the occasion so here's hoping I won't need to buy the mag afterall. They've already got a photo of Jade in a wedding dress posing with Jack Tweedy, I'm assuming this a previous promotional photo and not actually of her in her dress.

I'm a little bit more optimistic now, phew, that was a close one.

    Toodles.
  • Hi, I havent posted for a while, but I just wanted to let you all know, that we haven't caved in and had takeout yet, I am even thinking of carrying this on for a further 100 days after this time finishes! It is saving money and our health and waistlines!!

Also I have just used up a bath cream that we used as showergel and a conditioner!! I will have to cave in on the shampoo tho because I suffer from a really flaky scalp due to being allergic to most shampoos except for Head and Shoulders, so for my health and sanity lol I will have to buy some H&S! but we are doing really well. My Mom gave my ED loadsa small hotel freebie bottles of stuff and mini soaps, which kind of helps but also means we have even more to get through, and nearly everytime my daughters go to her house they come back with more. I suppose it means we dont have to spend money on them for a while, its just irritating as everytime I seem to be getting down the pile, more gets added to it.

As far as the kitchen cleaners are concerned, we used up most of the sterilising fluid which is what i am diluuting to use for side/floor cleaner. But I bought 8 bottles of ZOFLORA last week as they were 2 bottles for a pound in POUNDWORLD, so i thought i cant pass that up as one bottle dilutes to make about 5 minimum spray bottles full of cleaner that we use for everything.

Anyway, hope everyone else is sticking to their guns and not quitting!

    Hi,

My first post since I joined the challenge. I had promised that I wouldn't buy any shower stuff until I had used it all up so I have had to buy some conditioner which I paid for with points.

I also failed at the airport and bought some Lancome day and night cream. My excuse is that I won't be opening it until after the challenge as I have enough to keep me going! I do feel bad but I couldn't help myself! :o

I do have to say that my boots obsession is really being challenged as part of this challenge. Even if I do pop in, I know I cannot spend any money so I usually don't even bother.

Well done to all the challengers. I haven't read all of the posts but what I have read shows great determination. I've already started to think about what I would do for the next one. I think it might have to be coffee (lattes etc from coffee shops) and chocolate.

    Good luck

Hmmm, excuse  now part of the problem for us all is that we buy for 'when we run out' ......

!!! kicking over, I love Lancome face cream too (I only use day cream though, my face is nakeeeeeeeed at night), one slip up in 50 days isn't the end of the world hun (says the hypocrite lady who accidentally spent £350 in a shopping trip a few weeks ago :rotfl:)

And that ^^^^^ is what it's all about hun! :T

On another note, I have just had some terrible kids TV on in the background and there is a kid on it who is being a superhero who sounds like she is called "princess poor" (it may well be 'princess power' but poor anunciation on the part of the presenters) I may start to only respond to that name from here on it :rotfl:

    HRH Princess Poor :D
