  • Well done Fed Up on your second LBM! And on your ebay sales:T Even if you don't sell any of your make up, you will save a fortune just from not buying any!

Tracey - great news on the Avon.... and I don't know about you but I'm not counting anything bought with points :o (although I am trying to stick to the principle of only buying when I run out)

  • I've not taken part in the second 100 day challenge but just wanted to say well done to everyone on here- I find it so inspirational.

I've recently run out of Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and have been using baby lotion, along with my muslin cloth instead. I have to say I honestly have not seen a difference in my skin. Big revelation for me as I was sure my skin would look dreadful is I gave my beloved LE up, but it doesn't!

Good luck with the last couple of weeks of the challenge.

I have been really good and am just about half way there! No Spend Days have been really helpful. I have been putting extra cash that I would have wasted into my sealed tin. Amazed!

:j :jMust keep it up! Must keep it up! Must keep it up! :j :j
I don't get to come on here too often.
    Too buzy money saving!

    call the EU!

I am still going strong, did have to buy some toner cos I have completely run out and it is really helping with the spots! (its simple stuff)

but apart from that its good, I don't miss magazines, which is weird and I have nearly run out of body lotion. been using up old face cream and foot cream so far. I like this challenge, throwing away empty bottles is very satisfiying!

    Nevertheless she persisted.

Can i just say how fantastic this thread is?
I keep reading all the posts, some congratulating themselves on their willpower, some berating themselves for falling off the wagon.
I have noticed that this thread has made everyone very conscious of their decisions... and if they do "fall off" they are looking at how to "redeem" themselves by using the items or selling off on ebay, etc.
It's so great that this challenge has everyone thinking ... and even if you do buy something, you either have consciously decided to do so, or are contemplating whether or not you need it after the fact and then going about amending the laspe.
I know I have said this before, but how much more would we have actually bought without this challenge? And not even thought about the consequences?
    A massive congratulations to everyone!!!!
Ps. My friend bought me a diet coke on Sunday, appreciated it so much more since it has been two weeks since my last can :)

    Me too.

Was half hoping OH would take pity on me this week and buy me a trashy magazine, but he didn't. Will have to do without then!

I've used up another bottle of shampoo and almost finished a shower gel:j I'm finding the hair care and skincare really easy but not the make up:eek: I just love the stuff and lust after it all the time:o Staying away from Boots has been a big help to me.

Fedup well done for sorting out your make up. I would find that much harder to part with as well. I'm determined to use up at least 1 make up item before the end of this challenge. I want the addiction to using stuff up to spread to my make up but it does take so long to use it up even when I wear it every day. Just proves that I never really needed it all in the first place. I may have to content myself with just hitting the pan of 1 product. It's so satisfying to see the bottom of a make up item:cool: I may just do this with my Estee Lauder eye base. Fingers crossed:p

  • Well done everyone!!

I had my third fail yesterday, a coffee at work for the bargain price of £1.40!!! I felt soooo guilty afterwards!
To punish myself I've just put some Vouchers on Ebay that I got for my birthday and was saving for a much needed session of Retail Therapy ....
