:D I too resisted the L'Occitane TSV as told myself I really don't need any more soaps or shower gel in any shape or form!:j

Now I'm not even bothered to watch anymore of the shows!

Well done Sarah for resisting the Liz Earle website:T

Day 76 for me today with only 24 days left now, it has gone so quickly!

This challenge has done me the world of good and I am going to sell the nails inc set I bought on my only blip.

I am thinking of what I can add in to my next 100 days to help keep me motivated alongside the current list as I feel my mind sliping into 'well I could buy that on 11 March' the day after this ends for me.

  • Day 45 if you started on 1 Jan.

All good here, saw the L'Occitane tsv but not tempted in the slightest. Looked a bit "pink" and flowery.
  • Hey everyone! I haven't posted for ages but am still on the wagon. I had one chocolate-eating blip when I was at a meeting a few weeks ago and automatically ate some chocolate biscuits (well they were free) and only remembered hours later that I wasn't meant to eat chocolate at all till April. Cosmetics thing is going well.

I was craving chocolate today but OH and his brother know about my challenge and hid it from me :T

    Keep up the good work!

    Hello everybody,

I haven't posted for ages as I reverted to lurkdom and more recently have been without the internet, however I thought I would catch up with how everybody is doing.

I haven't had any blips and don't even think about buying any of my banned sustances. I look at the front of magazines when I'm waiting at the checkouts but don't feel the need to buy any, but if I do need a fix then when I get home I'll read a magazine I already have. At the moment I'm working my way through a January 2005 edition of Good Housekeeping!!

A few weeks back I counted up how much shampoo and conditioner I had and estimating that I use approx 5ml (a teaspoon) each time I wash my hair I calculated that I still don't need to buy any shampoo and conditioner for 48 weeks, so I think I'm pretty much sorted on that front, lol.

Anyway it's good to see that people are still keeping to the challenge and the support is brilliant.

    Toodles.
  • I'm still on the wagon too - this is getting easier!

  • After my blow out on clothes a couple of weeks ago I am back on the wagon again (fingers crossed for the rest of the challenge) I did buy three bottles of face wash in America but I had allowed for that when I set the challenge up so no guilt there.

Well done to everyone who has (more or less) stayed on the wagon!!

  • I agree, I think it is getting easier too, I think this cold turkey could sort me out for life!

TBH I dont even look at my banned items when I shop anymore (apart from my blip a couple of weeks ago! lol)x
  • Day 77 done and dusted now and I have used up a very small sample of Elemis Cream Face Mask and L'Occitane Shea Butter Hair Mask (Lasted 3 years - v.infrequent use!)

Counted up what I have left to use - many large pots of moisturiser and then enough 15ml sizes to make up to a usual 50ml pot in 4 different pots, that's about 2yrs worth then :o

So much to use I decided to put a Philosophy Cleanser, found out some almost brand new OPI nail varnishes unused for almost 2 years and the nail inc set bought on my blip in ebay - all photographed and ready to list tomorrow. Already have some Ojon I bought and used once on ebay and hoping this sells at any price even tho' they are practically full.

This challenge has helped me think what I have, will use, enjoy using, suits my skin and hair and nails and.....what does not. I will not make the same impulse buy mistakes again stockpliling never to be used or stored away for years:D
