I can't quite believe only 33 days left now. I'm really surprised how quickly it has gone.
A few wobbles this week - felt tempted to buy a Gatineau set I already own for storage and yesterday felt v.tempted to buy some plants for the garden. I think I must stop watching again as I find QVC very enticing for encouraging me to spend. Also Northern Nights TSV v.enticing. Only common sense stopped me spending for once!
Liz Earle fans be strong on Saturday if that it what you want.
Remember ultimately QVC want us to spend money and they are not bothered if we have it or not so long as they find the ultimate techniques to convince us to buy. My aren't they the ultimate sales people?
OMG yes, with their subliminal messages and their 'you really must have this £1000 duvet, it will make your life complete' nonsense. I so very nearly bought a Northern Nights featherbed thing in the early hours of this morning - do I need one!?!Err No! I will watch the Liz Earle TSV tomorrow (I'll be witing for midnight so I can do my free scratchies!) but I WILL NOT BUY!!!

I do! Our mattress is nasty! 7 years of being slept on by the overweight one (me) and the underweight one (him) has left it in need of replacing. (It was only ever a cheapy ArGos one to start with!) But I think one of those feather thingys would give it more life!
Today I am going to withdraw my emergency £5, so that I can go for a snow walk, and then for a reassuringly expensive hot chocolate with my lovely friend. (It's time I treated him!) I've called the OH and told him to start back ASAP as the weather is awful. (Started my journey to work, before getting a call to tell me the school was closed. Not sure if I'm pleased to have a snow day, or cross that I won't now get paid for today!)

Yay Rachee! Only another three weeks til I get paid
So I watched the TSV last night and didn't buy anything.... its a nice collection of stuff, but theres bit in there that I wouldn't use.... and more importantly, I have a challenge to keep up with!
So I managed not to buy anything yesterday, and I have food to take tonight, so won't buy anything today either!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Just thought i'd pop in for a quick update. I'm on day 34 and i'm still going strong. I wish i'd chosen take aways as my 100day challenge, only i know i'd fail misserably at that one. Take aways are our weekly/fortnightly treat but we really need to knock them on the head altogether. Maybe i should include take aways from now on and see how i get on.
Just realised its been nearly 3weeks since our last take away, maybe were not as bad as i thought:rolleyes:
Glad to see everyone else is doing really well and resisting temptation;)£387.39/£196.46

No Sarah - you don't need it! There's lots of little trial sizes in there I notice - all that does is suck you into then wanting the full size! Very clever!
I really want a new daily eye repair cos I have run out but I'm going to try and hang on for a bit longer.:rolleyes:Grocery challenge: Jun£134.15/£120; Jul £60.90/£1200 -
Thanks Tracey... I have found as well, if you are only wanting one product, its cheaper to buy it direct from Liz Earle, or through their clearance shop on ebay - its cheaper because of a problem with the packaging, but the product is just the same!'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0
