Heat day yesterday - and again I resisted!
I think OH buying me one last week has made me realise that it's habit more than necessity. (though I did enjoy it, and will read it again to make up for not having a new one!)

Second failure for me today I'm afraid... I bought some cheap bits after work and a bag of Mini Eggs jumped into my basket'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0

I know, I love mini eggs
I figured I would have one bag then be over it.... two slips in a space of a few days is not acceptable to me, and then I receive an emailfrom Liz Earle saying that the TSV on QVC Sat am is a new product
My only hope is that MiL sees it and takes pity on me 'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Well we have done quite well, did the shopping on tuesday which is the months shopping but this month not using supermarkets, we spent just under £200 on fresh fruit veg meat etc some other random bits then OH went to Asda last night just for the odd tinned sweetcorn/toms, eggs etc.
One of my banned things is kitchen side cleaner stuff as i buy loads but i was in Poundworld and they had two bottles of Zoflora for £1 so I bought them thinking along the money saving lines of it can be diluted and used for the floors and i can dilute it and use it for the sides also so all round 2 bottles or a pound which can do a multitude of jobs is s pound well spent.
Im also going to buy some cheapo empty spray bottles of ebay to make my own cleaners and also try to make my own air freshners aswellSP challenge 2009 #539 £200/£13.55

No slips or wobbles for me this week (makes a change!) - too busy decluttering house & listing on eBay to go shopping!
SarahNeedle1872 - had to laugh at the mini eggs - they're forever leaping into my basket too and then startling me at the checkout...although in my case they're normally 'helped' in by small hands!:rotfl:
magni - can you add me to the Mac Honour Roll please? Oh, it's so lurvely - what I wouldn't give for a thirty-second trolley dash in there...
northern.lights - Jeunesse des mains! That's the one - perhaps it just *is* very horrid then, and there was nothing wrong with it (apart from the obvious!) It all smelled a bit elderly to me - shades of Granny's handbag and mothballs - bleeee!
wheredoesitallgo - why does that never happen to me?? Someone was definitely looking out for you that day!
Well done everyone - stay strong this weekend (particularly all you LE addicts!) :T:T:T0 -
so ok not been too great on the crisps front as had a few bags but have stuck to the no buy on the toiletries and hair stuff and magazines. I do comps as my main hobby and today was thrilled to receive as a prize £650 worth of (yes you have guessed it toiletries and hair products
). I haven't broken the challenge as i won these and not bought them but I thought it was funny when i opened the boxes.

Just popping in to say Day 67 over for me! :j
I can't quite believe only 33 days left now. I'm really surprised how quickly it has gone.
A few wobbles this week - felt tempted to buy a Gatineau set I already own for storage and yesterday felt v.tempted to buy some plants for the garden. I think I must stop watching again as I find QVC very enticing for encouraging me to spend. Also Northern Nights TSV v.enticing. Only common sense stopped me spending for once!
Liz Earle fans be strong on Saturday if that it what you want.
Remember ultimately QVC want us to spend money and they are not bothered if we have it or not so long as they find the ultimate techniques to convince us to buy.
