:T Well done :T
I dreamt about hand cream last night! There was a new hand cream out (probably LE!) so I went to buy it and didn't remember about the challenge until I got back home with it. I was gutted when I realised what I'd done. Then I woke up and I was so relieved it was just a dream! :rotfl: Does this make me very sad!

Ha ha NL, thats brilliant! No its not sad, it means you have a DFW sub-concious as well

Well, just past a fifth of the way through the challenge - and managed to resist all temptation so far! :j Used up a conditioner and a primer this week - now onto a mini one before I finish another half-used cast-off (and then I'll STILL have another full size one left!).:rotfl:
Currently bracing myself - Liz is coming up shortly and you just know it's going to be something I 'need' really badly! And the offers she has just now look SOOOO good!! I am determined tho' - well done to all who have resisted so far. :T
And yes, Sarah, you're right - QVC should definitely come with a warning
Grocery challenge: Jun£134.15/£120; Jul £60.90/£1200 -
I handed my QVC card to my OH. He keeps it, and knowing that I need to ask for it, means that I don't! I am a craft addict (though the Cooking Essentials pans are lovely... they happened on an ill day!)
Never got into the beauty stuff.. thankfully!
Well done on the resisting!

I got some new deodorant and some toothbrushes from boots (both on offer and necessities so not feeling guilty undet the challenge)
I have had the deodorant before but I got the 'sensitive' one then. I grabbed two of the random scented ones and they smell a bit minging. Pants - do I ditch and smell nice or live with it and ming for a couple of months????£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Completed another week, one quarter of the way there, and actually not finding it too bad. Discovering what I have got "in stock" at home is a bit (!) like shopping, and the feeling of clearing space is great.
Lunches at work going well - getting in to soups brought from home, and cutting down on sandwiches has meant I have lost a couple of pounds through not eating as much bread.
Here's to the second quarter of the test!!!!0 -
Oh wow! A quarter gone already??? :j I hadn't thought of measuring it like that... it makes me feel quite happy!

Is HEAT day today! Yesterday I was (for some unknown and embarassing reason) thinking that there hadn't been much gossip about Jordan and Peter recently. (Why they popped into my mind, I have NO idea - it's not my usual style of thinking!) It took a few minutes to realise that I didn't know because I hadn't been reading my weekly trash!
I think with thought-waves like that, I need professional help - NOW!!!! :eek:Natwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j

:j I have survived my hardest test so far - a trip to the Metrocentre -without buying anything on my "banned" list :j
The hardest thing was resisting the MAC counter in House of Fraser - right in the doorway so impossible to avoid even if you're not going in the shop. I just kept on walking!! I am so chuffed with myself, which is a million times better than feeling guilty for spending money I don't have on stuff I don't need.
Well done to everyone who's got through the first quarter of the challenge. I'm still only on day 18!
