Well I nearly caved in last night with the SBC TSV on QVC.
I got as far as picking the phone up and pressing the call button. It was only the thought of the forum/challenge that stopped me. I thought of this and then of all the stuff I have and managed to stop myself. It was close tho' not putting straight on the CC as I would have done before. It was my biggest challenge of all and the closest.I did not cave in!!!!

Don't know why anyone would buy it ....... but I used to, nearly every month! Hardly ever used to make anything, just liked looking at the pics and drooling.:rotfl:
Not any more though!!0 -

I did have one blip last week where I bought my daughters a bag of chips to share (£1.80) my excuse is I am disabled and had a really cr**py day and couldn't be bothered to cook lol.

Well done:j I don't even know what TSV stands for but well done for resisting.
I almost bought some more stuff from the States again. It was cosmetic brushes (they're not technically on my list though) and they are so cheap and such good quality. I already have some and "need" to get a few more. I had them in my basket and even went to the checkout before I changed my mind:A100 Day Pot £13

Stay strong. I do this too when I want something and think about it a lot until I give in and buy it then I wonder why I wanted it so much in the first place:rolleyes: Try some distraction therapy by looking through the books you already have;) Well done for borrowing the others:T100 Day Pot £13

:j Yay FedUp! Well done for resisting... it is hard sometimes..... ok, a lot!
Magni, TSV is Todays Special Value.... its QVC's 'bargain' of the day, new one every day at midnight.'We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars' - Oscar Wilde0 -
Thanks Magni and Sarah for your support. The craving has passed now and I am pleased that I did not cave in.
The next test will be the Bare Escentuals TSV which I always buy and I have tons of the stuff!
In fact I probably would never need to buy any more make up (bar mascara) for a year with foundation and then 3 years for everything else!
I really need to stop looking at the TV guide to see what it coming up to avoid the temptation in the first place.
My own personal battle with QVC continues......plus I have unsubscribed from the email updates ages ago. They still send them to me  I marked them as spam and now they go straight into my spam folder and I empty it straight away :rotfl:
