Woop!! Me too! There was stacks I wanted (big surprise ) and I would previously have succumbed and bought loads of stuff I didn't need. I am SO pleased with myself!! :D

One of the girls at work had a bodyshop party brochure in today and I really 'need' a new kabuki brush - just going to clean mine instead!! Enjoyed drooling over all the lovely stuff - and also enjoyed handing the book back when I'd finished (without an order)!!!:A
Oooo, I like Bodyshop too... my friend had one before Christmas and I could have bought half the catalogue (luckily I was pretty skint by then! :o )

So the challenge continues.... just received an email from QVC saying that Liz Earle is on as TSV on 7th Jan..... I will watch  BUT I will not buy!:p I am determined that my attitude towards shopping, especially 'bargains' will be changed by then end of this 100 days!

Mmmm - really wanted to try something from the satsuma range! Maybe after the challenge when I have genuinely run out of something.

People are telling me that, after the 100 days I will go wild and just buy everything I see. But like you I am hoping to be weaned off that particular habit by then!

    Well done to everyone! :T

Hi Sarah, I unsubscribed from the email updates from QVC to help me as all the ones I had were mainly for beauty brands. I also removed QVC from my favourites list to help. I sometimes still visit the website but not as much and I don't browse it for as long as I'm now bored with it and realised there's no point looking if I'm not buying from it! :rotfl:

Hiya peeps, just a quick update from me. I'm still going strong although i nearly bought my self a pair of jeans in the sale yesterday till i reminded myself that i've just spent the last week de-cluttering my wardrobes and came across 26 pairs of jeans and combats (some of which were over 12yrs old and i'm only 27:rotfl: ) Now i can find things in my wardrobe i want it to stay that way. I've been good on the magazine front too. I've been picking up free mags from supermarkets and boots. My gran did buy me one tho:o , i never asked for it, i'd been poorly and she thought it would cheer me up, bless her. And guess what i've not even read it yet:rolleyes:

  • AQnother day, another shampoo and conditioner bite the dust (not that they are my 'problem' items anymore as I only have two of each (if you don't count travel sized robbed from hotel rooms) one in use, one in reserve) and the shower gel and face wash are going down nicely but slowly.
