Confession time, gave in and ordered the Nails Inc set from QVC.

Feel a bit awful about this as was so happy about how well I had done for 57 days out of 100. Day 58 was my nemisis and I never thought I would get a craving for Nails Inc and it caught me out big style.

I must not throw caution to the wind and carry on with my old behaviour from before. It is a mistake I have made and I will pick myself up and carry on with the rest of the challenge.

Sorry for this, my amour came down and I said 'I'm having it', before I would have said this once, twice, three times a day at least. At least I'm a long way away from that place

Never mind FedUp, at least you know that you have 'done wrong'

I have completed another day, although work is pretty pants at the mo and that is usually when I indulge in a little retail therapy :o

It's so great that everyone is doing so well at the challenge, I believe that falling "off the wagon" once or twice is not that bad, just imagine if you hadn't been doing the challenge! I would still be buying a diet coke a day ... or more!

I have found it really makes me think about whether or not I "need" the item - most times you don't, you just want it!

I'm going strong, haven't purchased any of my items, although did finish my one and only can of diet coke yesterday ... to be fair, it is one of my hangover cures and I had a doozy yesterday. Happy Australia Day to all!

I got the taste for it, really wanted one tonight but my kind housemate wouldn't let me buy any more :)

I'm surprised, I miss it more than chocolate!!!

I'm still on the wagon, have come very close to falling off, but have eventually found 'spare' conditioner:j I would feel ok buying 1 conditioner if I had none at all, but to buy just the one I needed would be too much temptation, there would some sort of offer & I would end up buying loads!

I have so far managed to finish 1 conditioner, 2x shower gels & 1 x P&P serum. So much more still to use:rotfl:
My bank balance is so much better, not sure about my skin:confused:

Well done in the Metro Centre Northern..I haven't put myself through that temptation.....yet...
  • Pippo, have you got anything you could sell on eBay? I cheated a bit and sold some stuff on eBay that I knew I wouldn't use...

Totally agree with you - I may have had a wobble or two but I dread to think of the amount I would have spent without question had I not been on the challenge.

Confessions of an errant challenger: I bought two books from the charity shop when I was out at the weekend - and some toothpaste, Blisteze cream in a 'toothpaste' tube, deodorant & Batiste dry shampoo.

The bits I didn't 'need' were the books (211 Things A Bright Girl Can Do & the My Sister Madonna one by Christopher Ciccone), the Blisteze & the dry shampoo. I have been looking for the Blisteze in a tube for months though and thought they must have stopped making it, and the Batiste dry shampoo has been on my wish-list for ages and I was very excited to find it - and more so when it was only £1.59!

The books are both in very good condition so I'll list them on GreenMetropolis when I'm done & clean my conscience a little.

No more makeup/toiletries wobbles though, and still no heat! magazine - and no other mags either!

And there's finally a bit of space in my bathroom cabinet - can't quite believe it but so far we've used up the last of & chucked/recycled: Tub Lush Helping Hands cream, tub vanilla aqueous cream, bottle Waitrose Baby shampoo, bottle Essential Source White Tea & Grapefruit Bath(absolutely gorgeous & one I'll buy again in the future), bottle Essential Source Tea Tree & Mint Shower Gel, bottle Oilatum Jr Bath Emolient, tube Olay Moisturiser, Lush Ultrashine Shampoo Bar, tube Blisteze, tube toothpaste, deodorant roll-on plus about four lovely Lush bath-bombs!

Well done to everyone & particularly those who are stoically remaining wobble-free! :T:T:T
