In my defence it is one with lots of menu planning tips and I was vulnerable having been made redundant an hour earlier:rotfl:

Hi, I'd like to join in on this.
After joining the Boots grabbit thread last summer, I have been buying lots of bargains - last night I got all my haircare products together, and I have about 2600ml of shampoo plus numerous cremes, sprays, serums, mousses, conditioners etc.
So I vow to buy no more haircare for 100 days from yesterday, end date 15th April. Even if there's a great deal that means I can get 2 products for 9p! Also, I'm going to actually use the cremes, sprays etc.

Lucifa73 - sorry to hear about your redundancy, if that had been me I think I would have gone out a bought more than a book, :rotfl: I'm sure we can let off as your new book will help keep you busy and hopefully save you money too in the long run, jump back on board and hold on tight.:D

Thanks. If I wasn't 36+weeks pregnant it would've been a bottle of Jack so in comparison a book is positively saintly:A :rotfl: It wont stop me following the challenge for sure!

I have just actually read this however, I would like to join in as I have had NO CIGARETTE'S Since 1st January. Thats one of my vice's and a pretty expensive one too. Would spend up to £7.50 per day sometimes, more on a weekend on ciggie's.

So far on 16th Jan2009 ( including this weekend ) I have saved approx : £106.80 ). WOW !!!

I will check in with progress and money saving reports regularly.

Thanks

Still going strong with my challenge. The only beauty related products i have bought are two large bottles of conditioner as i am on my last little bit and they were very much needed, plus only £1 each for a 500ml bottle from approved foods.

I haven't bought any chocs although i have been very tempted and must admit i can see me slipping on this one!!

With regards to my mini challenge of throwing no food away i have thrown food away on three days out of the 16 so far so am relatively pleased with this. Still areas for improvement though!!

• I'd like to join in on this one.

I'll pledge not to buy any magazines, chocolate and take aways, apart from fish and chips on a friday night!! (Does that count?)

Aren't we all doing amazngly well:j

There will be no boost to the economy at least until the end of our 100 days and maybe by then we will all have better habits;)

I have slipped, every such a titchy bit,[STRIKE]needed[/STRIKE] wanted to use a £5 Roc voucher before it went out of date, but only bought wipes and paid an extra £1.49!
but in reality that means I was in a Boots branch and only spent £1.49:j and picked up their free magazine too! but won't even look at the coupons:rolleyes:

I was wondering why so many of us are hung up on cosmetics/toiletries/magazines/handbags etc:confused: ..is it because no matter what our shape or size they always fit? ..just a thought!
Have finished the dreaded !!!! conditioner..got some basic ones to us, but still can't find the posh ones I bought in France!
Welcome to all new posters and lucifer think we will allow you a cookbook.. but just the one mind:rotfl:

Be good folks
