I fell off the wagon today:o  I had a voucher to use in Debenhams which had been bought for my birthday and was intended for me to buy some Mac makeup. My birthday was in August and I didn't use it then as I had started the first 100 day challenge and was determined to be good. Today however I was in Belfast getting my hair cut and thought it was the perfect opportunity to go to Mac and use up the voucher. I spent several pounds over the voucher amount though:o I feel bad for doing it but I love what I bought:rolleyes: Safely back onto the wagon for me tomorrow. I still haven't bought any hair care (even though I was in the hair salon today and usually buy some sort of hair product when I'm there:o ) or skin care.

I think I have added everyone to date now. Newcomers are still welcome:D Keep up the good work everyone and don't follow my example:o

  • Tracey, how do you find the dry oil sprays? I have been looking at them but wondering if they are just too greasy...?
I like to feel moisturised, but not like a oily fish :rotfl:

Haha!! Hi Sarah - I LOVE dry oil sprays. I like body lotion as well but TBH I don't always have time for all that rubbing in  , especially in the morning before work. I think oil sprays give the same effect in a fraction of the time. Used to just use avon ones (green one is best I think), but sanctuary are now my fave! And a little bit goes further with these ones too.

Can't BELIEVE Smashbox are going to be on this Sunday (AND Philosophy) - I AM GUTTED!!!! :rotfl:

I think I read a bit earlier on the thread that its Beauty day on QVC on Sunday... the day that DS catches up on his sleep and I sit on the sofa watching tv:eek: Decleor is supposed to be TSV, so although I don't use it, I may have to buy for MiL for her birthday if its the right kinda thing! That's my excuse anyway :o

Will have a look at the Sanctuary oils when my lotions run out (have lots of Boots points to spend :) ) I could definately do something to streamline my routine in the morning!

    :hello: Hello everybody,

well done to all for staying strong, especially the QVC addicts! I had a tube of L'Occitane once and it really was gorgeous so I can sympathise with your dilemmas. I've never actually got into watching the shopping channels and I'm really pleased about that as it's obviously just another method of temptation.

Well things have been pretty quiet here and I haven't finished any bottles of anything for a while. Since I had my 'credit crunch haircut' I've reduced the amount of shampoo I'm using and am also finding I don't need to put conditioner on anymore now that all the dyed hair has gone, so I think the stocks I have got are going to last quite some time.

I'm finding now that I'm in a catch-22 situation because I want to use all this stuff up but at the same time I want it to last so I don't have to spend any money replacing it. I suppose I'm just one of those people that are never happy.

Oh well we can't all be perfect!:rotfl: :rotfl:

    Toodles.

I'm staying away from the shops today to avoid temptation;)

I have never heard of L'occitane but I am so tempted to Google it:o This challenge is getting harder because we are learning about other peoples weaknesses which could potentially become our new weaknesses iyswim. I must stay strong. I very rarely go near the shopping channels either but I'm finding myself being drawn to them:rolleyes:

  • I'm in on this, I'm not going to buy any shoes, clothes, handbags or books - even from charity or second hand shops until my next student loan payment which is Early April!

(With the exception of any uni books that might be added to my reading list)

OMG it's going to kill me, but I've got to do it!
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!
