So does the fact that I took my impules buy back mean I get to minus it from my failures???????????

Good grief yes! Momentary wobble followed by instant guilt and immediate putting right - I think you did brilliantly!

    Well done you! :T:T:T
  • I'm avoiding cosmetics for my 100 day challenge and even had to tell DH that I wouldn't be going to the Boots sale today... that was a tough one! 75% off!!

But yay! I've bought nothing so far!! :j And have actually found that shopping in my HUGE make-up case has yielded some interesting (and brand new, still sealed!) previous purchases:D

    Hi all,
Well done to everyone, sounds like you are all doing so well :)

I am on track, haven't purchased any of my items, in fact, haven't had any diet coke, crisps or potato salad since I started the challenge. I have succombed to chocolate, but still much less than if I had been purchasing it.

Am up to Day#11, so have a while to go, but impressed that I am doing so well! :)

Another day ticked off for me, upto Day 46 now :j :j

Then I came home from work to a postcard from QVC (despite me cancelling any email updates a month ago which I still receive) advertising the Delceor TSV on Sun and I felt highly tempted

My only hope is to go out for the day and hope it has sold out when I get back because I will (sighs) probably watch some of the bloomin' beauty day (best not actually, must go back to AVOID rather than control)

Oh dear a tempting day 49 is due for me and it's a bad emotional day for me too just to coincide. Must get out in the open air to clear mind and get away from the TV otherwise I feel I will crumble and I don't want to get nearly halfway and fold!

On the plus side I did use up everything I said I would so that means

1 Elemis collagen face mask pack = used :D
1 ABC Tea Tree deorderant = used :D
1 Liz Earle sm toner = used :D
    1 L'Occitane body lotion = used :D
    1 Philosophy Flawless Poreless = used :D

Spaces are appearing at last and not being filled up with more :j I need to remember this on my more difficult days. I remember being in Boots at the start of this challenge and finding it miles harder than I ever thought I would and I got through that ok :D

Well done everyone else for hanging in there!:T

  • Evenin everyone:hello:

Had to get cotton buds when I went shopping yesterday. Don't count these because I don't stockpile them, or things like cotton wool pads. And I HAD actually run out of them. We got to the top of the aisle and I said to DD 'Right, we're only here for cotton buds, that's all, don't let me get ANYTHING else!' She thought it was hilarious and kept looking at the shelves going 'Mmmmm' and 'Oooooh' :rotfl: NOT very helpful!! :rotfl:

Also finished this week one sanctuary body moisture spray (which I LOVE!!!) as well as the Liz Earle skin repair which I reported the other day. Will finish another type of dry oil spray this week - not because I use it by the bucket tho! This is one that I shoved to one side when something nicer came along, so I am going to use it up before I open a new one. Also finished a deodorant but got plenty of those...

And I have discovered something else ... I am LOVING using everything up!:j :j :j
    Grocery challenge: Jun£134.15/£120; Jul £60.90/£120
  • Tracey, how do you find the dry oil sprays? I have been looking at them but wondering if they are just too greasy...?
I like to feel moisturised, but not like a oily fish :rotfl:

Declaring another good day.... went grocery shopping and didn't even go down the health and beauty aisles :) yay me! Bought chocolate... but its for OH as he likes it when he's having beer (hence the round tummy :) )... and what was the other one? Oh yeah.... day off today so didn't buy any food at work! Hah! :D

Hope everyone else is doing well today...?
