  • Hiya

It's been a long time since I was here (as you'll see from my totally out of date sig) but I intend to start the new year with some major debt busting so I'll join this challenge to begin with! I vow not to buy any magazines in shops (am subscribed to a couple so they don't count) :money:

    Count me in too please.
I aim not to buy any of the following
    1) chocolate for myself (wow, 100 days is a long time with no chocolate)
    2) shampoo or conditioner ( I have bottles of the stuff but just keep buying them)

Hopefully I will be able to keep to it as I don't want to be the only one to fail.

    Hi, count me in!

I'm doing the challenge already and this is my 31st day of NOT buying cosmetics. skincare, beauty products or anything from shopping TV. I will only buy something if I run out eg deoderant or toothpaste and mouthwash and I am keeping a list to see how much I spend on things I run out of.

At one point I was spending up to £200 a week on QVC beauty products not thinking what this cost on a CC and they are just stacked up in my home  In the last 31 days I have only spent £1.67 on a deoderant!:j

It was the only thing I ran out in the last 31 days and I feel so much better about things now.:D

This challenge has helped me change my ways more than anything at all and thanks to Magni for the original one I stumbled across :A

I would like to extend my run to the same time as you guys as I feel I can do it now!

I think you're ok to eat this - it falls under the same sort of category as leftover Christmas chocolates ;)

I am hoping someone will buy me a bag of crisps during the 100 days as I know I will have withdrawal symptoms:o
