Well my mum got an offer for a transfer closer to me, so I maxed out my O/D so she could get her rent up to date, day later my Dad has called from Manchester, my Nanna has died, so now waiting on money back from mum tomorrow, fingers crossed the advanced reduced tickets are still avalible so it only costs me £13 to get me and kids there for funeral instead of £20. Have had to order stuff on catalogue to kit kids out. My two wool coats had been knocked on floor and animals used them for a bed overnight, couldn't get the hairs off so washed them, but now look a mess so ordered a coat in sales too. Think I am going to have to bow out of many of my challenges this year.2026 Goals

Well I discovered yesterday I have a slight inheritance, and came home with a £1000, I do have some more to come, but not fully sure of figure yet. Anyhow I have decided to use part of it to pay of my debts which incur interest, and place the rest in an ISA. The amount I am placing in an ISA I am hoping to use to take my kids to Lapland 'THIS' year. Since I will have around £180 freed up a month from my 'interest incurring' debts, I can then use that as extra to pay off my non interest debts, whilst the reminder of my inheritance is actually working for me. I have started off by clearing my O/D that was near on maxed out to £700, and asked the bank to reduce my O/D limit to £50, which if I ever go into it again, is easily manageable for me. [STRIKE]I am going to pay[/STRIKE]Have paid £219.64 off my CC, with the reminder bringing my CC balance to £1000, which I will then clear when rest of the cash hits my bank account, and then ring Vanquis up and fully cancel my card (which is at my mothers in a sealed envelope cut into pieces). Also I will clear my La Redoute Catologue account as I have to pay interest on that one.
I know many people would use thier full wack to clear their debts, but I want to use it in a way which works and benefits both myself and my kids the best, as I know that is what my nanna would have wanted.2026 Goals

Well been and bought myself another huge box of washing powder, will see how long this one lasts, last one lasted for months, just cant remember when i bought it so not sure how long it lasted for just somewhere around 5-7months, and for £13.99 think that is pretty snazzy.2026 Goals
