  • Yay nice deep hot soak last night.
Discovered yesterday that I could have done my littlwood orders via TCB and got £29 for it, didn't notice till I did an order yesterday when I got £14.96 fopr second order, unfortuanly had already ordered my hoover which would have given another £8 yesterday morning before I found this out. Could have had just short of £50 in total ah never mind, least I know now. Shame I have done all of this years required shopping.

  • Well had my first date in a long time this weekend. Went ok apart from me breaking out in a major itchy rash that meant my poor date had to stick camomile lotion on me. A date with a difference I suppose.
Have order fire basket for Ex and his wife. The sale where I found it ends tomorrow and he doesn't get paid till Friday, but I don't mind covering the cost for a week or so, if it means in the long term their fire is safer for when my children visit. Anyhow was a good saving from £94.98 down to £28.49 for a 46cm fire basket. Though when I sent him a text over it, he thought I was being dirty as I asked him how big was his hole...:o:rotfl:opppssss.
At some point today I will be be getting my new flooring in the kitchen:j:j, then I can give the kitchen a proper cleaning. Have had to drag the white appliences into lounge for the day, whilst it gets done.

    That's what he said too...lol.

I wanted the ground to just swallow me up when I flared up. From just being given a compliment that I had a lovely complexion, I then suddenly had the complexion of a lizard:o:eek: On the whole though I would say it went pretty well, now I am just waiting to see if he gets back to me, or if my reptilian side has scared him off.
Kitchen on the whole is OK, did most of today's' flylady jobs before they came and put the glue base stuff on the floor. Which out if interest is giving me a horrid headache.

Looks like I am going to have to drop out of 100 day challenge this time round because I wasn't told that I would be unable to re-plumb my cooker in as trying to get it into kitchen will just drag all the latex up. So going to have to get take out to feed my kids tonight, as I have nothing in to make sandwiches with,a s my bread doubt is waiting to go into the oven it cant now go into.

  • Hi Penny,

I have just finished reading through your diary and just wanted to say congratulations and keep up the good work! At this rate I'm sure you will see Lapland in a couple of years!

Although you may still be single if you keep breaking out in rashes on every date! Lol :-)

(sorry, I know I shouldn't laugh but that was one of the better date stories I've heard in a while!)

    Cheers,

God don't say that, knowing my luck it would happen. A friend says maybe it was nerves that caused it. But defiantly not how I hope all future dates go.

  • Apparently they don't do the colour tiles I chose, so have to chosen grey out of the 3 colours they do have available. Tiles are now being laid, hopefully by this evening I can return my white goods back into the kitchen and start getting the lounge sorted. Cant flylady when I cant even swing a mouse round in here.
