    You need $20.25 in your account to request payment. Do one more review...

    On a different note, two things that are bugging me about the site;

    1. How do you see old blog posts? I wanted to go back and check something out but I can't see how to do it.

    2. WHy is it that when you click on a category, such as 'baby', you get a whole load of useles stuff that comes up first that isn't available for review? Why do so many of hte categories have such weird stuff being placed at the top of the pile? Shouldn't it be stuff that they most want reviewing at the top?
    I had a similar moment wondering about how to see old blog posts and haven't yet found a link on the main page of the site for it. But if you click on any of the current blog posts, at the end of the blog (before the comments) there's an option to "see all blog posts" and that will take you to them :)

  • Have found one of my favourite chick lits hasn't yet been reviewed. I wasn't sure what to say so have checked some reviews of a completely unrelated extremely popular book (Harry Potter). Seems like I should be able to this, 150 words is nothing on the essay I had to write recently:D

    MOrado, don't get carried away - as I said above, only 25 cents whether or not it's long or short review - and as far as I know there are no 'first' bonuses either.

    Oh, and thanks Aurelia - I did find it the other day in teh same place you mentioned - odd that there's no proper link to it on the main page.

    Thanks for this, oh well it's nice to start off with something I know

    YOu only get paid $0.25 for book or film reviews now, irrespective of whether they're first or not.

    also the 'first' bonus is still showing up in my earnings, but I was under the impressiont hat we weren't being paid that any more while they rejigged the structure?
    I have just upladed my first review, was the first review on the paticular book and over 1000 characters. In my profile it now says I have $2.00 potential earnings to date?:confused:

    Yes I know, i've posted a question to james on this very topic. It's been showing all mine as first review bonuses too, but on his 15th jan blog it very clearly says that they are suspending the first review bonus. I can only think that they haven't updated the software. TO be honest teh site is a beta version so there will be lots of glitches; I'm fully expecting to be told I'm getting much less than I expected when I put in my next request for payment. If they do pay me more, all well and good.
  • Yes... it is a glitch but it should be fixed now.

    Thank you all for all of your suggestions and candid info. Do me a favour, email me at editor@comparedby.us is you are a rookie. I might be able to give you a bump up the queue.

    Hi editorCBU

    Do you know that you have some spelling mistakes on the tabs on the home page - surely if you expect well written reviews you should ensure your site has correct spellings :)
