Hello fabby crazy peeps

so, sorry I havent been in for ages but it's been rather chaotic here for the last couple of weeks what with 2 weeks of double hours at work & DD1 staying here while in transit beween 2 flats & a holiday
Happy New Clothes to CurlyTop & Mum2one :j I'll update the front page
I've been very good & havent bought a single thing since my last confession
& I've also had a huge wardrobe clearout & finally accepted that however much an item cost me ... if I dont wear it then it has to GO, likewise with anything that is 2 sizes too small
Having been inspired by the wondrous & megafabulous Gok I've been organising my clothes into various outfits & can now pull together at least 15 everyday ones without any effort
It was great fun & I have a reasonable amount of stuff to put on ebay when DD1 shows me how to do it ...
Glad to see everyone really doing so well :A

Well done Lula!
I did this a couple of months back and although it hurt, it at the time I felt wonderful afterwards as suddenly I had a wardrobe of clothes that I can WEAR not look at
. Saves 15 minutes every morning.
My next step (one day
) is to plan the 'capsule' wardobe of garments that work together so that I can reduce the quantity... I keep getting stuck as my list reads:
white blouse
navy skirt
navy cardigan.
...and I realise it's my old school uniform :eek:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Lula, just what I thought too. I have dresses I never wore with the tags on, or ones that I wore just once that need to go as look rubbish/reason why I never wore them!
Learn by my mistakes for next time is my pledge now. Really make sure I know what suits me in future and if I will wear it!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -

Went into town to look for a posh frock for the school's 'leavers' prom' (this is 'work' not pleasure
) but found myself stumping round silently muttering "HOW much?"
Couldn't find anything that I liked, that fitted, that was long enough, that suited me and/or that I was willing to pay for
There is a suitable dress in DD's wardrobe...but if she catches me I'll have to move into Lula's house! :shhh:I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Hello, fabby recessionistas! I've not been buying for me but for my girls...ebay is fab for this, new miniboden for a fiver!
My work skirt and most of the tops are going into holes, so I must be being pretty frugal with my clothes buying. Now I just have to slim into the stuff without holes that's sitting waiting!:rotfl::eek::rotfl:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
