Spent today sorting out summer clothes - ironing, sewing back buttons, a bit of mending & shortening a long skirt.

Result? one ready to wear summer wardrobe, total cost NIL :D

I shall be on the look out for a coffee or dusty pink t-shirt to go with my skirt, and my neutral coloured trousers died in storage (Dewhirst seconds here I come!) but otherwise I am sorted :j:j:j

Finally found a t-shirt I liked in coffee brown (well, quite strong coffee ;))= £4 :D

Finally found trousers I like, that fit well & are 'good value' ...(drum roll, please)£2 in Dewhirst's, also got a black cheesecloth blouse and a pink cotton shirt for £3 the pair. I LOVE the Dewhirst reduced rails :heartpuls,

so total spend was £9, meaning my total is now
    £59.72- £9.00= £50.72

    Thanks Lula!:j

    Hello all,

oooh oooh oooh Happy New Clothes :j to Flying fresian, gratefulforhelp, Buffy & Luxor4tea ,I do like it when there are a few confessions - so much easier to slip mine in unnoticed :shhh::D

I had to take my car for a check up on saturday to nearby Poshy town where the charity shops are full of expensive cast offs  & managed to get myself a new dress/top that looks great over leggings now & will one day look good on its own too ( that day being the one when I have long , lean tanned legs  :rotfl:) It was a mere 3.99 so I'm happy.

    Off to upate the totals,

    bye for now
    lula

    I spent £39.50 on trousers. :o *runs*

But I needed them because they fitted and I am too fat at the moment to fit in my other trousers. Please don't update me yet as not sure if I am keeping them.

Also £32 on underwear from M&S online, down from £58 due to sale/codes, but underwear doesn't count. :j

good girl for confessing sarah & I promise not to update yet ;)

Dizzydebs - definitely dont include any type of sports clothes in the challenge :)
  • I too took advantage of the M&S offers on bras :) But that doesn't count :)

I also bought a nice jumper from charity shop £2.99, and when I got home found it was from "Zara" not bad. Have updated my siggy. Can't believe how little i'm spending on clothes this year!

Grrr, toook the trousers back for a smaller size as they were just too big and now they are too small so they are going back again. At least I am going to take them back rather than sticking them in the back of my wardrobe until they fit and forgetting about them as usual:o
