I'm on the verge of a spend. My bras are all packing up at the same time :o - one nearly took the washing machine out when the wire came out of it in the drum.

Trouble is where do I go, I'm the sort that needs a fair bit of scaffolding underneath her clothes :rotfl:

I got a great supportive one in Asda yesterday. Go up to a 40-something G I think, and quite reasonable, mine was £8.

Gosh thats good value, was it underwired?

Spent 7.50 on an ebay skirt, but for work so doesnt count, right?

  • underwired yes, I need it! lol but really pretty too, unusual in a larger size.

i justify my ebay purchases by selling to make back the money - I bet you have £7.50 of something in the house - then it def doesnt count! :)
    :money:

Puss14 & loobylou - I'm very impressed with your abstinence & you are both :A but I might have to consider forcing you to buy something soon as you're making the rest of us look bad

IntergalacticFloozie - so sorry to hear of your OHs redundancy :grouphug: but hurray for finding & fitting into new jeans :j

Maz - very happy new clothes to you :D you're doing so well on your shrinkage that I think you deserve to up your budget a bit ;)

Joolz-red on this challenge shoes dont count :D

Happy new clothes also to Luxor4tea, TescoPointsAddict, Moneysavingmonkey85 & Shelovestobuy stuff :j

Well, I braved the annual 'get the summer clothes out' traditition on May1st ... only 2 tops fit  :o:mad::(

I have so many items that I love & used to feel comfortable in but now I just feel gross :( so have punished myself by putting all the clothes that dont fit into my wardrobe & the horrible cltohes that do fit & that I dont like are now on a hanging rail so I have to look at them each time I go in my room.

I'm really really ashamed at my own laziness & lack of willpower, it's now May & if I had just kept up with the simple taks of reducing my food & doing exercise I could have lost all 20lbs by now

    Now on a mission ....

    Hello ...I just thought i would nip in to say i have purchased a couple of things which im not sure are in on this !! i prefer not to count them anyway}

It was my best friends fancy dress party on Saturday night , luckily there was no theme - After scouring the internet / shops / charity shops / ebay ..etcetc..for a fair few months for an ideal outfit ...all i could come up with were full outfits inc shoes etc at the cheapest was £50 ...even hire shops were around £30 quid max.

So with this challenge in mind and a bit of thought i came up with a few cheaper ideas which didnt include sewing {which i cannot do either)

    A builder so here goes
    • Helmet - borrowed ( free)
    • eye goggles and mouth guard for round my neck !! £1.00 in poundland for the two)
    • High viability vest (again £1.00 in poundland)
    • checkered blouse which i tied and ruffled a bit ( free- out of wardrobe from last summer )
    • Worn jeans ( free -again out of wardrobe)
    • flourecent yellow leg warmers scruffled up (£2.00 pair- off local market )
    • Boots ( free- a pair i had that i never wear )
    • Toolbelt - borrowed off a friend (free )
So the whole outfit costs me only £4.00 ...and saved me money for more drinks :j:j:j:j
