Hey! Haven't bought any clothes for a while, I'm proud of myself. Today I got two gorgeous dresses - both pretty much summer dresses, although one I think will be lovely in the winter too with some nice thick grey tights. A blue checked dress with grey at the top - £3, should have been £20. A pretty white dress with butterflies on and a pink belt - £5, should have been £19. I'm really happy with both of them - they're gorgeous and I saved £31!
This brings my total so far this year to £91 now - leaving me with £9... I'd like to say I'm not going to spend that, but I'm planning to go shopping before this year is over

Hello everybody, I know it's not the end of the year yet, but just wanted to say congratulations to all of you who managed to complete Lula's crazy challenge. I intended to, I really did, but unfortunately I went way off track many months ago, BUT not to be deterred I have signed up for 2010 and brownies honour, I promise I will try harder this year! So well done to everybody for completing the challenge and for those of us who didn't better luck next time! And a big thank you to Lula for doing this thread, I'm sure it is actually quite time consuming so a big round of applause to you Lula

Thanks Primula

I really enjoy this challenge & reading about everyones purchases ( living vicariously as usual ) tips & creativity.
Also, any time I'm replying to posts is time NOT spent on the Faith website or out shopping :T

Possibly the last declaration of the year... just bought a silky graphic print a-line skirt, black and white, h&m but looks like jigsaw, £2.99
. I LOVE my local oxfam.
Apparently they are having a refit third week of jan and are keeping a lot of good stuff for the reopening... so may have to blow some of next years budget in the first month!;)
Thanks Lula-Hula for running this challenge , it has been great to be focused. I've put back so many things back thinking, I could save up to get something better!
Plus I have about £6 to roll over to next year!:T
