Chicken tikka all gone. DS loved it, I quite liked it and ate but as per usual DD didn't like it and didn't eat it . She srives me crazy that one. All she wants is junk food. Hopefully it's a teenage thing and she'll get over it soon. She'll be down later cos she is hungry mooching in the cupboards and then moaning there's nothing to eat. There is loads but no carp lol so she will not be pleased. Worried? Not me. She'll soon eat what's there if she is really hungry. Was meant to be at slimming class tonight but going to go in the morning instead befoe I go off to see the castle. Going to veg for a while now and watch some telly. Later x5 Year plan. Late post as it has been a bit of a day today. Was on my way out to drive to DOune when my friend called me to tell me DS had collapsed on her at work. Raced round there ASAP but by that time an ambulance had been called as she was drifting in and out of consciousness. SHe has really low blood pressure so goes down like a stone on a fairly regular basis. Today was a bit scary mind you as the paramedics just grabbed her and put her on the floor with her feet up whilst she was still unconscious and I was not best pleased lol. Didn't like the way they man handled my baby :rotfl:. Got her round quickly though. Had to take her to docs and get her checked over. Yet again they had difficulty getting a BP reading from her as it so low but they do not seem overly concerned about it as apparently at her age lots of girls have low BP. Upshot of it all is that she was fine and has had a nice long lecture of ensuring she eats and drinks plenty whilst working.
Then went into my mum's tonight to sort out her meal and the poor soul was in agony. They have had to take all her rheumatoid medication off of her as it affects her breathing. Unfortunately this is now having an adverse effect on her joints. THis was another call to doc for him to come visit her. I didn't et home until about 10 as I didn't want to leave her. AAAAAAAAAAAA ( big scream)
Got home and ny friend has been on phone for over an hour as her dad has been referred to the hospice for paliative care and she was really upset, obviously. I am emotionally drained.
ANyway to spends. I spent £6.20 in Greggs on dinner and a couple buns for the kids. I then went to ASDA and spent £8 on a kettle as mine was broken, £3.19 on hoover bags and £6 on sweets and cheese. Never mind all essential buys including the sweets as I really needed the sugar.
I will try and get to the castle tomorrow and have a nice day out with the kids. I hope you all had a better day than me xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hello. Am fine ty Hypno. I reckon I missed my calling in life though. I should have gone into counseling as apparently I am a good listener.
We had a fab day today. We went to DOune castle and I took my ds, My friends dd and her friend's dd who is FRench. It was excellent. WEather was fab for exploring as the sun was out, no rain and a nice breeze. We then went on to Stirling castle and I spent the sum total of £2.50 :j. I have a Historic Scotland membership which covers 1 adult and up to 6 kids for entry fees and also car parking so it is fabulous for cheap days out. I spent about £8 in local shop though as needed a couple of essentials earlier. I am going to try and buy the minimum from the supermarket this week as I have a party on Saturday night and want to enjoy that so need to keep some money for drinks and taxis.
KIds have been nibbling all day so have just made snacky dinners but I have a couple of baked potatoes in the oven for mine.
I have no intentions of leaving the house tonight as the traffic here will be horrific as the golf has started.
DD is fine today after yesterday' s dramas and my mum is on the mend. I phoned her at 8.20 this morning to make sure she was alright before I set off. I hope everyone is well xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Good afternoon. I am being nice ad organised this week and have done a menu and a shopping list
. Should manage to do supermarket shop for about £30 which would be miraculous. I spent over £120 last week so have loads of food lefT. Going to bore you now with the details.
Menu
Today: Going to mums so macaroni for us all with HM chips
Sat: Pizza for kids and gammon steak and trimmings for me
Sun: Mums, Chicken chausseur and trimmings
Mon: Mum's , stewed sausage etc
Tues: Spag Bol
Wed: Pasties for the kids and I will make something at mum's for her and I
Thurs: Pork, veg , pots
Fri: Mum's so possibly local carvery
I need to feed my mum every second night as she is so disabled now she cannot cook and is so fussy that she would not eat meals on wheels or anything. Never mind it is my pleasure to look after her although it is exhausting at times. Kids don't always want to go in though as they get bored and she can be a bit narky with them so that ends up 2 meals to be cooked.
I won't bore you with the shopping list but suffice to say it is short and hopefully cheap.
Ex hubby has started paying his maintenance arrears again :jso at least that's £20 in the coffers each week. Every little helps.
I went to pick dd up from work today at 12 and passed a new hairdressers who had standby prices on their window. We looked in and it was empty so we gave them a quick call and went in immediately and had our hair done for £15 each. And very nice it is too I am really pleased with it. I didn't even have my purse with me as I had no intention of spending any money lol so dd had to pay and I have paid her back. Then spent £1 on rolls. Going to go to ASDA today so that I can gauge what money I have left for petrol and the party I am going to tomorrow night. I am really looking forward to that as I have a lovely new dress and it is ages since I have been to a proper grown up party. Will let you know later if I manage my shopping under £30. Fingers crossed.
