Forgot to say I got a TD instant lip plumper for 50p with the £5 voucher.
The sweet young SA said where did you get the voucher?. So I told her but warned her that the new leaflets hadn't got the TD voucher in. Gave her a spare one I had. She was thrilled and said she would get some and also get staff discount.
Saw her later in her lunch break getting the TD.
I was happy to help her as she price checked loads of things for me and did it with a smile.
One good turn deserves another and that's what makes the world go round.0 -
Hi I managed to get the capsule gym ball and a few other bits, the lady said it was one coupon per transaction but I asked her to try and it worked!! As this was happening, large queue etc, a heavy wooden board on the back of the tills fell off and fell onto the back of my 4 yr olds leg. It has cut the inside of her knee and drew blood ( but not much) and made her scream and really cry. I had to lift the piece of wood of her as she was on the floor with it on top of her and the woman behind the till called for help. Eventually help came in the form of a Saturday student worker who filled in an accident form - incorrectly so i had to change it. A first aider came and put a dab of witch hazel on. Apologies and that was it.
Strangely on the accident form it asked for my profession??? I wonder why. The Saturday girl said this had happened before and nothing had been done about it.
Should I leave it at that?? ie an apology??
Please advise fellow MSE'sNo one puts baby in the corner.0 -

this is unaceptable all fixtures and fitting should be safe and due care should be taken to avoid accidents happening, this has happened before, what if it had fallen on a baby in a carry seat?
i would seek furthur advice

I have been for my daily fiix in Boots got two lots DR 4 items, 3 N7 body spray, 1 exercise ball, sun cream, 2 venetian tea candle holders, 2 rose smelly cushions, 1 orange and bergamota eau de toilette... and I nearly got everything for 50p!!!!
:T
that was a shame, the lady did some and my discount was enormous... she then ask someone to help and it went to 23 pounds, not bad considering I got 220 points and the 3 pounds vouchers.
What are we going to do after the 31? When am I going to go for my walkis? I only lost 1 pound last week!!! even with all my searching for Boots offers! I will have to start training for the marathon as I still need to lose 2 stones.

Went to the Basildon store today. I was hoping to get some gym equipment and I rang the store up to confirm that they stocked gym balls. They said yes, so I went along to the store. It turned out that they only stocked 1 piece of gym equipment, which was a branded pack containing a gym ball and a fitness DVD. I think it cost about £20. Not a completely wasted trip though as I got:
2x No7 Nail Varnish and Lipstick sets £2.50 each
2x Skin Kindly Moisture Boost Body Cream £0.99 BOGOF.
I spent £5.99 and got 600 points back with the No7 Skin Concerntrates coupons from the machine. :T
EDIT: Oh and I forgot to say that there was no cheap TD left, and the store seems to have stopped stocking the EA Pulse Point Gels as there was no stock, no empty spaces on the shelf and no SEL for them.0
